Hotel Spa La Hacienda De Don Juan

Super spacious room and bathroom, private lounge at front of entry where we had cheese and wine. The room was available to all guests Decor is a bit 80s but we didn’t mind, sort of old world Free parking on site Easy walk to main town We used the spa pools and complex very relaxing Some staff spoke English and were very informative with our questions or giving directions

Not much maybe only that we booked months ago and they never confirmed a double room so to avoid 2 single beds we had to move to a different building further away. It was fine just more walking. I think to main double rooms went to ppl who booked spa packages?

Staff were very friendly and the hotel is clean and spacious. Be prepared for a kind of faded glamour - the devour is very colourful and dated (there is a phone booth in the lobby!) but I found it kitsch/ charming.

Book ahead to use the spa! We nearly didn’t get in and could not get any treatments. The hydro pools are great for relaxing, but again - be prepared for a much smaller spa pool/ room than it looks in the pictures! The breakfast is pretty grim - lots of packaged breads/ cakes and instant coffee from a machine.

The hotel was beautiful, the room spotless. The towels were the best I've ever had in a hotel, so was the extras, gel etc..the decor and furniture lovely. The staff were very good. I would use this hotel again but upgrade.

The slanted ceiling, the window wouldn't open without ripping the curtains, as no air con. If you haven't got air con then you must be able to open your window.

On the booking.com site it mentioned the sauna as one of the facilities. I was aware the spa was extra. So the spa had steam rooms (no sauna). I’d thought, from reading the info, there was the spa (extra) AND a sauna ( included). This is why I chose this hotel.

Excellent hotel, we stopped for 2 nights before returning to uk. Great breakfast and traditional evening meal but a 5/10 minute walk to town if you want something different. Safe covered parking for motorcycles. Staff spoke very good English we will be back

Location was perfect; staff were welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly. Room was spacious and had accessible power points. Good sized TV

An item od clothing went missing while I was down at the spa. I searched everywhere - including my luggage and even under the bed. Mentioned it to a charming member of staff. Shem too, looked for the item. Nothing was found.

Excellent location, a short five minute walk to the town centre. Large car park site meant easy access for touring the area.

A wedding on the Saturday resulted in loud music until the early hours of the morning. Bad nights sleep and very tired the next day.

The location was fantastic and the parking was very secure. We used one of the common rooms to play games. we had a very enjoyable time.

The smell of the room when we first arrived was overpowering. I believe that it was the smell of a cleaning solution or something, but it was very strong. We opened the door to the balcony to let fresh air in and that fixed it.

Spacious room (with glass bay window), lots of storage space, fridge in the room. Also spacious bathroom. Large breakfast room, lots of choices. Free parking outside, grocery store accross the street. Good base for visiting the Picos de Europa.
