Hotel Doña Blanca

It's my 'go to' hotel in Jerez. Perfect location 2 mins from the centre of the city with loads of shops and restaurants. Popular area with the local folk who fill the streets during summer evenings. The reception staff were super and the cleaning staff always had a smile. Clean room with shower on suite with usual furnishings. Restaurant not used. Secure underground parking available. Essential for my motorcycle. Very good value for money off season. Aircon worked well but was mechanically noisy.

Bed was fairly hard as were the pillows so slept badly, not helped by another client screaming at someone at 4am.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even let us park our car early before we checked in. The room was very big, the biggest during our trip, and it was nice to spread out a little bit. The location is great. It's within 15-20min walk from everywhere we wanted to be.

The parking garage is a hassle to get in and out of. The front desk has to buzz you down in the elevator, and if they forget to do it, then you just go up to other floors. Then, you have to get back down to the lobby and remind the front desk that they haven't sent you down yet. They forgot 3 of the 4 times we needed to get to out car during our stay. They also didn't tell us that we had to pay for the parking until we were checking out. Not that we minded, but it would have been nice to know before.

Hotel was clean, with brilliant stuff, they helped me a lot, it was easy to communicate with them. Room was cleaned everyday. Very close to the central area (1-2min). Overall I liked it very much ☺️

Breakfast was not available. When I requested, they did it just for me, that was nice, but not a big choice. So I had breakfast at hotel only for once. You can use nearby bars with much cheaper price. Not a good view from room (inner room), but it was expected, so I have not any complains.

Excellent hotel position within Jerez & for travelling to the MotoGP circuit. The underground parking was extremely secure for our motorbikes, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel well in advance of travelling due to hearing how busy Jerez can be. The price we paid was extortionate compared to normal prices, they certainly know how to make the most of the Moto GP weekend which is a shame as we found there were rooms still available at a fraction of the price, probably because of the pricing policy. Unfortunately we hadn't realised or we would have cancelled and rebooked at a more reasonable price.

My wife and I were very very pleased with our four-night stay at the Hotel Doña Blanco. We liked everything -- from the refined decor to the excellent WiFi. Noteworthy is that our room (a "Habitación. Familiar") was large, bright, attractive and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the minibar/refrigerator was quiet and effective, and the shower generous. Also important is that the hotel is perfectly located -- on a quiet street in the city center and near to restaurants, bodegas, and places of interest to visitors. What is also significant is that our room was nicely and discreetly cleaned daily: we returned to find a neat room with fresh towels.

Might the Hotel Doña Blanca be even better? We would suggest providing an anti-slip shower mat.

Easy to drive to with parking under the Hotel. Easy walk from the Hotel right into the heart of Jerez and all the bars, shops and restaurants. Large bedroom, good shower, balcony doors overlooking the street below. All clean and well managed. In 20 mins we walked to the Royal Andalucian Horse School, a fantastic location and worth a visit.

Only a minor issue but there was poor sound insulation between the rooms but not a real issue.

Room was very clean and recently refurbished. Comfortable bed and shower was nice and powerful! It was very good value for money - much nicer than I was expecting. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming

Parking at the hotel was interesting! There were spaces available in the underground carpark but some spots were very challenging to get into! I am sure there is other easily accessible parking close by

Great location being only a 5 minute walk from the centre attractions of Jerez. Room was clean, tea and coffee making facilities with a minibar fridge ( empty) for keeping things cold. Shower was great.

The Wi-Fi is not good and can’t cope with streaming so make sure you have plenty of data on your phone as the 4g signal is ok. Not really a negative as I ate out most nights (and there is a super market about 50m from the hotel door) but remember there is no dinner in the hotel and no room service.

Breakfast had lots of options Location was excellent, right in the centre, so exploring was easy. The hotel smelled clean and during Covid, I felt that was important. Great towels and the added shampoo in the room was a bonus.

The garage door and elevator are operated and watched by camaras at the front desk. When we left, there was another couple ahead of us, so the front desk was aware we were leaving, they let us in the elevator. But, the door to get out of the garage did not open, despite honking and finally, someone from the other car had to get out and press the buzzer, all on a steep 45 degree angle. This process is flawed and if there was an emergency or a fire, those in the car park garage would be in real danger. This was not enough to change my ranking of the visit, but it was definitely a concern.

Very comfortable room and loved the outside terrace. Most of the staff were extremely helpful especially Daniel who helped when Husband fell ill. Could not thank him enough. Quiet area but close to the centre of Jerez.

One female member of staff was not very helpful. Breakfast was good but there could be more variety especially for visitors who are vegetarian.
