The Standard, Ibiza - Adults Only

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Concierge were fantastic, honest, knowledgeable and capable. Room (junior suite) was a great size, bed large, clean & comfortable. Bathroom was large, open, not stuffy like most hotels, multiple shower heads were amazing. Airconditioning worked well, and room was also nice with the doors onto balconies open. Not at all noisy despite being on level 1 when windows/ doors closed. Breakfast inside, or outside on the terrace was a highlight with the beautiful location, breezy, and food great. Rooftop terrace also great for a swim, and cocktail at sunset. Great central location, easy walk to the old town & marina & multiple places to eat. Easier to get a taxi from this central location. Airport taxi transfer option was also seamless.

It was a shame the pool needed to be drained whilst we were there, but the hotel offered free drinks on the rooftop every evening to compensate as a result. These things do happen, so it was lovely they recognised the inconvenience.

This hotel was THE BEST. The decor and style of the hotel is great, the roof terrace with its pool, sun beds and exceptional views was lovely, as was Jara the downstairs restaurant, bingo night is a must as is the cocktail menu and the Caesar salad. The room itself was nice we had the 1st option (superior king) and stayed for 9 nights and it was more than comfortable even with all the stuff we had packed, I couldn’t have asked for anything else from a hotel room and next time I stay I might have to try one of the more premium rooms to really see what I’m missing out on! also the included breakfast was good - great quality and a vast array of food. Even price wise for Ibiza it wasn’t extortionate and it was priced competitively with the surrounding establishments. I was happy to pay the prices on offer for the food and service received. The best thing about the hotel for me though was the people that worked there. I have never seen such a friendly and attentive staff in any hotel I’ve stayed at. Right through from the cleaners to the managers, they were all exceptional. If we needed anything they were all on hand to help and they really helped to make this holiday the best. I feel like the location, hotel itself, and staff help to make this hotel the best on the island.

The one thing that I didn’t like but because of the service and quality didn’t mind was that ‘Jara’ and ‘UP’ have the same food and drink but ‘Up’ is more expensive. I guess because it’s open to the public they get lots of people coming for the views. To be honest it was only a couple euro difference. but because of the quality of service and food I didn’t mind what I payed.

There’s nothing standard about staying at this fabulous hotel. Ideally located in Ibiza old town close to the port and lots of lovely bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is well designed and has a cool, relaxed vibe. We loved the rooftop pool, lounge area and bar. All the restaurants were superb and the breakfast which was included in our room rate was first class. However, the main reason why we thought this hotel was exceptional was the staff… Joan, Sonia, Monica and all the team were superb and went above and beyond ensuring our stay was perfect! Can’t recommend it highly enough…

Staff is exceptional. Very responsive to requests and they really want to make things right so that your stay is comfortable. Super comfortable beds. I like the room design. Location, location, location. It is placed in the best possible place. Close to the port and to old town. Central and not too far if you want to go to Ushuaia or simply wander around Playa en Bossa or Talamanca beach.

I must say rooms are tiny.

Breakfast was great. Location is very central. Room design is very clean, modern and calming. Rooftop pool is very relaxing with good food and drink. The staff is super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations.

The room was in the "casita", which was located a half block away from the main hotel and involved 2 elevators to reach the room. It was quiet (a good thing) but the room was very small. Not sure it was worth the cost.

The rooftop bar and pool area UP is one of the best places to hang out in Ibiza. The Jara was reslly good and overall the whole staff is extremely friendly, helpful and service-oriented.

I had ordered a bottle of champaign in a phone call prior to our arrival to be in the room on arrival. That did not work at all. But what I found really annoying was that I was told one would fix this now, but instead of the expected knock on the door, we received yet another call after 45-60 mins. telling me that they could not find any information about my initial call and if I still wanted a bottle. Which at that time, I didn’t. A behaviour which I would rate as absolutely sub standard. It’s okay to make a mistake. And when you get the chance to fix it then fix it IMMEDIATELY. And don’t look for who might have f***ed up or start lengthy inquiries internally. Life for everybody would be so much nicer, if people would use some common sense!

this is a great hotel and staff very friendly, can't do enough for you. concierge parking was amazing and unexpected.

rooftop restaurant and bar closed. service at Jara just not up to same standards as the rest of the hotel. the New Year's Eve dinner was a complete shambles, we didn't get all our food the food we got took 3 hours to come and we still didn't get all the menu none of the drinks that were part of the dinner arrived. shocking if I am honest. the music and entertainment was great though. Jara needs a head to toes shake up as will ruin the hotels reputation.

The beds were incredibly comfortable! The location in the old town is ideal. We visited in Feb so totally out of season and the hotel was still very buzzy with a great energy. The food is excellent.

The bathrooms very very very small, understand this is within a footprint of an older hotel but pocket doors vs classic swing doors would have optimised the space better. Shame the rooftop bar was closed, again I appreciate it was out of season but given the ground floor restaurant was totally full there should be a case to open out of season at least on weekends. The rooms are expensive for the size and reduced facilities out of season

The Standard really does takes design hotel to a new level Everything about our stay was perfect Joan on reception was super helpful We had a small problem with power in the room but we were offered complimentary room service and an upgrade .. we didn’t need this as they sorted quickly Fizz and chocolates for our anniversary The room was. beautiful, slap bang in the middle of Ibiza town , location couldn’t be better The restaurant/ bar / outside area are gorgeous and the rooftop area with pool breathtaking with a view of Dalt vita Amazing patatas bravas and guacamole

Nothing it was perfect

I’m not one to write reviews but my stay at the Standard Ibiza was so EXCEPTIONAL that I have to give the team the praise and recognition they deserve. I travel a lot for work and for pleasure so I have stayed at countless hotels – the Standard Ibiza is hands down the best guest experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, Louisa and the entire team made me feel so welcome the place immediately felt like a home away from home. Sonia was a true angel, providing me with the most thoughtful and attentive concierge service I have ever received – no matter what you want to do, they will send you the best places! Needless to say, in keeping with the Standard vibe everything radiates effortless cool - the staff, the decor, the rooms and the facilities - I can’t fault any of it. So if you are after a truly unique and cool hotel experience in heart of Ibiza, do yourself a favour and check into the Standard – you won’t regret it!
