Boutique Hotel Luna Granada Centro

woooow, one of the best hotels we stayed in. the hotel is beautifully styled, everything looks brand new. We had a really large room, with a very large bathroom and a great shower. the location is perfect really close to the main shopping streets and lots of restaurants and bars in the area. the hotel has it's own parking space underneath the hotel, which was perfect, not having to shlep around with our luggage. the hotel has a beautiful lobby/restaurant with unlimited free coffee and tea. breakfast was delicious, a buffet and possibility to order all kind of extra's and not expensive at all. but the absolute best of all was the staff at the hotel, marco from the restaurant and manuel from the reception. A specially manuel was a real jewel, every recommendation he made was great, he helped us even park the car, make reservations at restaurants and went really out of his way to make our stay in granada perfect.

The pillows in our bed weren't that comfortable, but I guess that's a matter of preferance

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the atrium was lovely. There were free hot drinks here and was a great place to relax. The room was great, comfy bed, lots of space and separate shower and toilet with the sink in the main area of the room. I had breakfast only on one day but there was a good selection on the continental buffet and also a choice of hot food ordered via a menu (I didn't realise this until the waitress brought the menu after I'd already eaten a lot of cold food!). The roof pool is small but it was perfect for what I wanted, a relaxing area to read and cool water to have a dip in. I did manage to get a bed each day with being alone, but might have struggled if I was with someone else. In terms of location it was good for me. It was around a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral and a bit further to the older part, but there are readily available taxis and buses which can take you to most places you'd want to go. I didn't speak the staff a great deal but they were helpful when I did have questions.

Possibly a couple more sun beds near the pool. Some instructions on using the safe/air conditioning in the rooms. Menu for hot breakfast on the table (I didn't realise I could order hot food until I'd eat a lot already).

Good location in city centre with all main tourist sites within walking distance (I am 78 and have some arthritis!). We stayed 5 nights and the room was a bit tight - a smaller bed would have created more space. Excellent cleaner, good breakfast selection, pleasant staff.

We chose the hotel for the roof pool knowing that we can only manage sightsseeing for the mornings (1000 - 1400) and could relax outdoors in the afternoon. This worked well though the "pool" is a large plunge bath and swimming impossible. There was only room for 3 couples to lie on loungers in the shade.

We had a great experience from start to finish. The staff could not be more helpful, especially Manuel. The breakfast is one of the best breakfasts we have had on our travels. The location is really central and it is easy to get to the main areas. It is on a busy street but the hotel is quiet and has a lovely central atrium area where you have meals so you feel like you are in an oasis. The rooftop pool is a nice addition. And, you can help yourself to coffee and hot chocolate any time. And the hot chocolate is amazing.

It is just one small comment, not a criticism. If you book a parking spot, please reach out to the hotel before arriving. The parking garage is on a back street and you will need directions. There is no parking infront of the hotel and the road is only for taxis and buses, so I would advice you to clarify the parking before you arrive. Then it is simple to find and to park. It was great to have hotel parking that connects you directly with the reception area.

Lovely modern hotel in the centre of Granada, a super location. The hotel decor was really nice and the room was huge and spotlessly clean. It was also very quiet as it looked out on the shared patio area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They printed our bus tickets for us, with no problem and for free. Everything felt brand new and modern and we loved the shared patio area where you could make a tea or a coffee or get a cold drink and chill out.

Nothing. I really cannot think of one single thing I could fault the hotel on. It was great value for money and we would stay there again the next time we are in Granada.

Friendly hotel in a central location. Great facilities including free tea and coffee in the lounge. Good roof top pool area with very small pool, good for cooling off (although we did not use it). Quiet rooms despite the city noise. Great breakfast. Whilst we had to pay for parking the hotel let us keep the car there for the whole day after we checked out.

Car park awkward to find and get to with narrow streets with bollards. Hotel did supply directions which would have helped had the advised road not been closed due to roadworks. Inside car park you need to take great care...... some narrow turns and spaces.

Breakfast was delicious. A good selection on the buffet table to start with . Menu of hot food available to order freshly made. Coffee machine available all day ( nespresso, I think) so perfect coffee every time. Perfect location, easily walkable to restaurants, bars, shops, old town etc.

Having parking underneath the hotel is fabulous but negotiating the tiny streets to find it is not for the faint hearted . Didn’t bother my husband though! We drove to the hotel first ….easier to find on google maps. The staff then gave us good instructions to find the car park . Left the car in the car park for the duration of our trip.

The hotel design is exceptionally beautiful, with a lot of personality. Location is very good, at walking distance from the city center sights. Breakfast was excellent, in an exquisite space with relaxing sounds of a water fountain. Complimentary coffee/water. The hotel parking lot is a good convenience (although a bit tight).

The main downside was poor cleanliness. The floor of the room and bathroom had other people's hair on it, and the nightstands still had marks of cups; it looked as if only the bedsheets and towels had been changed, without further cleaning. Also the swimming pool was lacking clean towels and beverages. If the room had been very clean, we would probably have given the hotel a 10/10.

The hotel was perfectly located for a stay in Granada, very clean and the best staff that we came across in our 7 day visit across Andalucia. Breakfast was perfect for us as there was a good mix between prepared dishes such as cold cuts, fruits etc. yet you could order hot, freshly cooked dishes from the menu. The rooms were very clean, quiet and beds very comfortable. All of the staff that we came across were superb and could not do enough to help us as required and everything was done with a smile. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return when next visiting Granada.

To be honest, there was nothing that I could fault with this hotel at all.

The location was fantastic, the rooms were big and the team of staff were more than excellent, parking was ample located right under the hotel. The hotel was new (only opened a month previous to our stay) so maybe needs a few finishing touches. That was a shame as we love the hotel and everything else we found great just with a few minor things that could help improve their guests stay.

Unfortunately the rooms although lovely lacked some homely finishing touches such as photos on the walls, decent pillows (normal for most spanish hotels) and a storage cabinet and wash hand basin in the bathroom. The wash hand basin was located in the entrance corridor as you entered the room which at night was an issue if you used the bathroom as you had to leave the bathroom to go wash your hands which we found not strange but also inconvenient as we had to put a light on which then woke our family.
