We rented the standard apartment for 3 nights. Before we arrived, we were contacted via Whatsapp with some additional information on our stay (e.g. that we should plan ahead with some dinner bookings due to a busy local holiday). Checking in way ahead of schedule (as we were already in town) was no problem at all. The owners also have the cafe below the apartments, hence, you have the opportunity for seats in the sunshine right when they open up. Communication in English is almost the standard - unless you speak local Catalan of course. The apartment has everything a traveler needs: a spacious living room with a sofa, a sofa desk, a small dinner table and chairs, a TV and a small kitchen. The bedroom is separate and allows for storing of your cloths. The kitchen was equipped with a huge cooling/freezing combi for storing your workout diet or all the goodies you buy in the local stores. The bathroom also had a washing machine, a tiny drying rack (for 6 shirts or so) was also available. The most convenient aspect for the racing bike traveler: there is a PIN code access at the doors instead of a bulky key or key card. Communication with the apartment manager was super easy.

Compared with the general appearance of the kitchen, the toaster really was the cheapest utensil ever. We could not use it at all. Given the fact that toasting some bread before topping it with tomato and olive oil is a routine activity in the Spanish mornings, we would have expected a better solution. As the apartments are located right next to/in the oldest part of Girona, naturally, parking is almost not possible. If you have a lot of luggage or need to dismount your bike and equipment from your car, you have to become a little bit creative and may need an extra coffee/muffin from the Comuna Café ;) A sofa blanket would have been nice for some coziness during a chilly April night (even though the heating was super efficient as well).

We stay only one night in the apartment but everything was perfect, from amazing smell when you come into the building, to the immaculate clean apartment and well decorated, it’s very stylish but keeping the character of the building with the expose rock wall. Close to everything by foot, even it’s in the city centre it was quiet at the same time, we were on first floor and we didn’t feel noisy at all even if it was close to the street. We didn’t cook but kitchen is equipped with everything you need, there were also coffee capsules and one for the washing machine what I think is very useful. There is a free parking 5 min from the apartment. Communication was easy and clear. We had breakfast at their cafe downstair a la carte and it was delicious, so highly recommended to eat there, good coffee. Overall great experience, nothing to dislike, we definitely come back on our next visit to Girona

Having visited Girona 4 times in the last 3 years this location was the best I'd stayed at. Just on the edge of the old town, so everything you need is within a short walk. But also very quiet in the evening. We had the top floor penthouse, which had three large double bedrooms, two with en-suites and a further separate shower room. Along with a spacious living-dining area, meant we didn't want to come home! The ground floor houses a great cafe, which has a very chilled vibe and offers the usual (but excellent) brunch-style dishes.

The only thing we missed was washing up liquid!

The apartment is modern, very comfortable and well equiped. Lots of help and advice from the friendly team and a good cafe downstairs for brunch. Daily housekeeping is a bonus although towels were not changed. The location is superb, in a quiet street but very close to all the historic sights, restaurants and bars. We visited during the annual Flower Festival so Girona was very busy. There is a lot of free public parking within walking distance of the apartment but, perhaps due to the festival, it was full so we had to circle round for a while until a space became free. Worth the wait.

We were there for three days. Free coffee pods were only provided for one day and there was only one dishwasher tablet but we got round that by not washing up every day!

Beautiful apartment with all amenities, excellent interiors plus decor. Walking distance to all sights in the historic neighbourhood. Communication for check in was smooth (all via electronic codes). Cafe downstairs serves great coffee and sweet treats (a tad bit expensive, but its worth the price).

The housekeeping staff forgot to make our room. But that was a one off chance (miscommunication). Nothing to complain

No better place to stay in Girona, especially if you’re going there for cycling. The apartment is fully equipped and suitable for a long stay for a family or a group of friends. Aisha was very courteous and friendly and communicated very well. We felt right at home! Definitely coming back.

It seemed recently renovated and very comfortable. The manager greeted us soon after we arrived and was very friendly.

It was not easy getting into the building. The door required a mighty push to open which I did not realize until getting a tutorial from a fellow resident! I also think the key pad was a bit temperamental.

Quick response when I emailed questions. Arranged for secure underground parking for me which was very helpful. Positive experience. Good casual restaurant right next door for breakfast or lunch. The room I had was spacious and very nice with separate bedroom. Would certainly stay there again.

Loved the room. The kitchen allowed me to cook my own meals. The cafe downstairs was great. The location was perfect.

The walls are a bit thin. There wasn't really any noise proofing. There was significant crowd noise from about 10-11:30 pm every night. The pillows are also rock hard.Everything else was perfect.

Gorgeous property, the apartment was much more spacious than I expected. The stone walls and decor was absolutely stunning. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, modern kitchen. The location is excellent in old town close to the cathedral. I had breakfast at the cafe which was also great.
