too far out. staff asked me to move from a table on the terrace as I was ‘sat in the wrong place’ we were asked to leave the bar at midnight - was told to go to the foyer and then was told we were making too much noise. don’t stay here if you want to have FUN no loungers or relaxation room in the spa pool area opened on our last day. it was beautiful but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it.

The hotel was fine and the staff very helpful. Bedrooms were a little on the small side given the 'spa' title, but perfectly acceptable, and the showers were first rate. The restaurant was surprisingly good. Although the hotel is out of town, which we thought might be a problem it was very easy to get a bus (there was a choice of three, depending on where you wanted to get to), and buses ran every 6 minutes or so, and until late. So it was nice to get away from the noise of the centre.

We had a car for the last few days to get to Bayonne, the inland areas (including Guernica) and then finally the airport to get our plane home. Parking was not easy, which was a surprise, but we coped! (You don't need a car for San Sebastian itself - it's a positive disadvantage - amd parking in Bayonne was not easy either). Breakfast was fine but unimaginative, given we twere there for just over a week - we were offered the same thing every day, which was a shame in a town which prides itself on its culinary expertise.

The hotel is in a perfect location for a restful break. Surrounded by nature and distant from the hassle of the city. Although it is in a tranquil location, it's very easy to travel around and just 15 minutes away from the centre. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and ALWAYS willing to help. Very pleasant experience. I really recommend this hotel, whether you are having a family holiday, a couple break away, or simply treating yourself for a few days of relaxation.

It wasn't very clear how to operate the air conditioning. But, perhaps I am not the best in technology. However, the rooms were at a perfect temperature.

Beautiful location, very well decorated, restaurant quite good. Relaxing and good vibe.

Location is far from the city but that may be nice if you are looking to relax and have a car to go about. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get.

Nice Staff and locked bikeroom for bikeriders in garage. Would be Nice with code instead of only one Key to Bike room. Very humid when we visited, so clothes would not dry in bathroom. Except for that very Nice room, very clean, and helpful staff. Bus to centre very close. For payment you Can park in the garage, and you Can buy Healty oatmeal in café Tilia for breakfast, if you do not want to buy the breakfast buffet. Wonderful with rooftop pool.

The room was excellent, very comfortable and always clean The bistro was good for daytime snacks and drinks. The rooftop pool was great but sometimes crowded and the bar by the pool was limited

The restaurant was closed for the whole visit. As the hotel is some distance from the city we were left with only the bistro for dinner. The menu was limited and often dishes weren’t available. The wine menu was good but when we tried to order wine many choices weren’t available and that only left the most expensive options.

For my adult daughter and I Arima &Spa was a pre-planned stop on our trip from Germany to the Algarve, Portugal. We loved the secure parking and the ease of the location. The architecture and Passivhaus concept is extraordinary and in itself is worth a stay. Everything was super clean and welcoming. The Spa is simply gorgeous and one should not miss it. The professional conduct of the team is tangible in every small gesture; one can only commend the team for their level of motivation, friendliness and expertise. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the doors until the moment we left. I will definitely recommend the hotel and spa to friends and family.

This is the really the Best Hotel I ever saw in my life! From first second entering hotel - relax quiet music... and all the other things for luxury and calm stay there. REALLY all on top level! Every detail!

The staff are top notch. The rooms are very soundproof and quiet. Beds are softer but comfortable. Free parking out front, a forest surrounds for a hike and the bus into town is very close. The breakfast is high quality and a good value even at 23 euro per adult 9 euro child. The rooftop pool is a little chilly at 21 Celsius but the view is delightful. We did not use the spa facilities but they looked nice. I would stay here again.

What a delight! We loved this hotel right from the start. Reception were lovely. The hotel was calm and quiet and so pleasant. Lovely rooms! Facilities were great. There was a lovely cafe/bar called Trijo I think on site you can get food and drink there all day and it’s delicious. This is an eco friendly hotel and I loved the ethos and everything about it. We will definitely be back!

Not anything for us but it is out of the way of the main shops/restaurants and sights of San Sebastián. However, you can travel by bus with ease to and from the town so that was no problem for us! 10-15 minute bus ride and they are frequent.
