Hotel MR Les Rotes

The look of the hotel was excellent, and the external decor was very fresh. Parking facilities were good, and the room itself was faultless. The pool was perfect, a decent length with marked lanes, so I was able to have a proper swim workout, which is one of the reasons I chose the hotel. Food was varied and excellent. It was a very quiet weekend so there weren’t too many other guests, but that suited me as it was a last minute getaway to allow me to switch off for a few days and just relax. It was only a very short walk to the sea too, and from there, a long, but very flat walk into Denia.

Maybe the soundproofing between rooms could be improved.

Good room, very clean. Beds comfortable. Very helpful service. Slippers provided necessary due to slippy floors. Buffet Breakfast was very fresh and nicely presented, freshly squeezed OJ and lots of fruit have seen wider selection but given it was a quieter time of year and number of guests was low this is to be expected. Plenty to eat and sufficent choice for most people.

Nothing bad but in the spirit of offering suggestions perhaps at breakfast a better selection of cereals perhaps (more low sugar high fibre options) and when low turnover scrambled eggs became a little old. Food in main restaurant was good but too rich. Restaurant was too late opening for us No tea and coffee but provided kettle when asked Tv old and service limited but didnt use. A hdmi or google chrome would ease this without having to replace tv

Fabulous quiet location. Very authentic and non-commercial. Stunning hotel. Room was beautiful. Food and wine exquisite. Plenty of choice. Large portion sizes. Pool area - fabulous size. Only a 2 minute walk from the beach/bay. You can get a bus outside the hotel into Denia and the Mariner. ALL staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. You were all very much appreciated. Hopefully our donated token gesture, reflected that. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you!

A non-slip bath mat would have been appreciated for us older people. A mirrored space in the bedroom area to do makeup would have helped - (blind as a bat without my glasses). Smoking area to close to guests eating outside, in the restaurant area - (nearer the pool end).

A simply stunning hotel. Beautiful and tranquil setting. Comfortable rooms with all your needs catered for. Extremely helpful staff, special thanks to Patricia and Alex for making our holiday extra special. The restaurant serves delicious food. So much so, we ate there every night! The breakfast is like a banquet with a great selection to choose from. I had a Thai massage which was divine and I would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!!

The only minor area of improvement would be to have a bar person, as we sometimes felt a nuisance asking the receptionist for drinks.

This small hotel (33 rooms) is beautifully presented and well cared for with lots of unusual art. The gardens are beautiful and you could be in the Caribbean! The staff are helpful and everywhere is very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Lots of sun beds around the pool. We had room 108 overlooking the pool with a huge terrace. Perfect for a short getaway.

The car park Is very small. The hotel was not full whilst we were there and I can imagine it could be difficult to park when it is.

A lovely quiet location, with a lovely walk by the sea about five minutes away. I loved all the trees. I didn't take advantage of the pool or other facilities on offer.

Not a big problem, but there was some confusion among the staff as to what time the restaurant opened in the evening. I went down at the time I had been booked a table, to be told it didn't open for half an hour. Seems the times change between winter, spring, summer... I felt the opening hour was later than I am used to.

The attention to detail. Beautiful hotel with excellent staff who were very accommodating and took great delight in meeting our needs making our visit very special and an experience that we will remember forever.

We did not like having to leave as we were so well looked after and enjoyed every moment.

Pool, Garden, Staff and Food

Transport to town (Denia) , limited to taxi or local bus which ran every two hours last bus back 20:15, bus timetable changes 27/06/2022 to every hour and last bus back 21:15, day after our departure. Many of the local bars and restruants within close proximity to hotel limited opening times(weekends only), imagine this will change from early July.

Booked two doubles and one twin and got two twins and one double

The food at the hotel was hit and miss. The breakfast was very good and standardised so the buffet was to the same quality every day. The lunch menu food was not great. Lots of ingredients missing from choices from the menu and lots f0o dishes returned etc. Hotel offers a pool side menu but you only know about this if you ask.

towel radiator in bathroom could not be turned off , so made the room very warm, room 114 had kitchen extract fan right by window, which was extremely noisy, so you could not open window to cool bathroom down, otherwise noise would have been unbearable in room
