The hotel is not far from the train and the bus stations (less than 10 min. on foot). The room was clean and with a good view of the park in front of the hotel and of the old city. The breakfast was served at the 7th floor, on an amazing terrace, with an amazing view of the city. It was absolutely adequate for the price, with a large choice of different home-made cakes.

Great location for the City Centre and also the Old Town.
Very disappointed to find that you have to pay €6 per day to use the Safety Deposit Box. This was not advertised and is frankly outdated in this day and age ! Had we known this in advance we would have potentially booked elsewhere. Car parking opposite side of the park outside hotel, €13 per day with Parkserve.

My stay in Cuenca was last minute as another plan had not materialised. This was my first visit. I wanted a central location with good transport links to access the rail station and local attractions. This hotel is ideally located in the centre, near bus stops and the main shopping street. I made several visits to the delightful old town and was able to make use of the 7th floor restaurant with its panoramic views. The facilities of the hotel were in keeping with the price.
Access to the hotel from the street is up a set of steps which would be challenging for those of limited mobility or carrying heavy luggage. It's not the hotel's issue but the main rail station is some distance from the town which obliged me to take a taxi. There is a bus service but no signage or timetable posted at the station, which I guess helps the taxi trade.

There is a beautiful park just across from the hotel. The hotel is very central. The bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom, with a lovely full length bath perfect for a soak after 4 hours on a motorcycle. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
It was awkward to get to the parking after you check in to the hotel because many of the streets are one way, the parking itself was very good.
