Perfect location. We were greeted at the beautiful entrance into the tranquil inner courtyard by a friendly lady (not sure if she was Mrs Manuel?) We were provided with a map and information on where we may want to go. She then showed us to our room , something that rarely happens nowadays. The hotel and our bedroom were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. Breakfast was elegant, and what a pleasure to have it served to you. It was a selection of bread , pate, preserves, cheese - all home made with the exception of the cheese. This was served with freshly squeezed orange juice , a special home made delicacy of the day, and tea or coffee. I even had a a teapot. The quality of the food was excellent. Manuel also brews beer. We sampled a couple of these sitting in the leafy inner courtyard. What more could you ask for.

There is nothing we did not like.

A hotel is not defined by its walls or the furniture and decor, although this hotel is absolutely unique in that sense; A hotel is defined by its staff and the comfort enjoyed by the guest throughout the stay. When it comes to Casa de Los Azulejos all expectations were superseded! I won't tell you how amazing the breakfast was cause hundreds of other reviews will do that. The beauty and charm of the house the location in the heart of historic Cordoba, get ready to enjoy the Andalusian charm, La Casa de los Azulejos will be your home away from home.

I loved everything, I can't wait to stay there again.

Lovely characterful hotel in a beautiful old house and a great location in the old town. The room was super spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The room was really well equipped with everything you would need. The host was excellent. I left my phone charger in the hotel and they posted it to me, free of charge. We would definitely stay there again if we were in Cordoba.

We cannot think of one thing we didnt like, we loved everything about the accommodation, the host and the location.

Marie greeted us with a very warm welcome and gave us loads of information on getting around the city. We had a spacious en-suite room with a comfy kingsize bed, all immaculately clean. A tray with kettle and coffee making facilities plus a selection of home made beers in the fridge Breakfast was delicious, prepared fresh fruit, homemade conserves and freshly baked bread. Very central location to all the sights and fabulous restaurants. We enjoyed our three nights stay. Thank you...

Nothing.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Pretty internal courtyard, library with plenty of guide books, and small outside area where we had some of the hotel’s own beer. Room comfortable and clean. Good tips on local area including suggestion we went to Mezquita at 08:30 - 09:30 (free entry & quiet) then return for breakfast. Breakfast was tasty. Good central location in town with key sites within 10 or so mins walk.

For some people the shower, though powerful with plenty of hot water, might be a bit tight for space.

A family run colonial style hotel. The owners are so helpful and friendly. Each night you can get the smell of freshly baked bread for breakfasts. The small pool is a lifer saver. The location is perfect and the hotel was great value . The selection of fresh breads, hans and fruit for breakfast for absolutely fantastic

Our AC wasn’t great but the other room our family was in, seemed a lot cooler. It may have been my ignorance using the remote.

The hotel is on a quiet street, near Town Hall, but very quiet at night, even with people nearby taking their evening strolls. Our room had an outside patio, but since it was February, we didn't use it. The bed and shower were both fine. Our host was an exceptional fellow, who not only gave us suggestions, but also cooked breakfast for all of the guests, and the breakfasts were wonderful, with freshly made (by him) bread and homemade jams, juice, fruit and coffee.

It was within walking distance of town. It was a charming hotel in traditional decor. It had a lovely courtyard with lovely mosaic tiles and a range of plants. The staff were friendly and took the time to engage in conversation with the guests, in whatever language they spoke. Breakfast always comprised of freshly baked bread, home made jams and freshly squeezed juice. It was very comfortable.

The showers could do with upgrading but it wasn't a big issue.

it was a lovely traditional Spanish property with bags of character and charm. the room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. however, I think the owner is the main appeal to this place. he was lovely, full of knowledge and I don’t know how he gets the time to make all the breakfast stuff as well as the beer and run the hotel.

I couldn’t find a bath towel but I know if I asked, I would have got one. I just didn’t notice till after my shower which was too late so I had to use a hand towel to get dry.

This hotel was a little gem in the centre of Cordoba. The owner, Manuel, was dedicated to making the hotel unique and a one-off experience. The hotel lived up to its name as with all the beautiful old tiles throughout. We enjoyed the little pool - a most welcome escape from the 40 degree heat of the city. Everything was close by include a 10 minute walk to the Mesquita. The breakfast was also delicious. We hope to go back!
