Eurostars Maimonides

The location was perfect. Located directly adjacent to the Mezquita-Catedral, the main historical site, and in the ancient Jewish district. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were happy to print out tickets for me and answer any questions I had- nothing seemed too much for them. The bathroom was a very decent size and featured a bidet. The room had a mini fridge which is always a massive plus in a hot climate. The house keeping was superb.

The room was the biggest disappointment. I think this is possibly down to it not being the same room as shown in the photos. The room was quite small in comparison and there were no coffee/tea making facilities. Whilst the room had air conditioning, it struggled to cool the room on the hotter days, where temperatures were reaching 43C. The air conditioner is not digital. It did work well, however, on the cooler days where temperatures reached a max of 32C.

We loved everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location, We highly recommend it.

Not a thing!

The warm welcome given by staff at Hotel Maimonides and trainee at reception was extremely courteous and helpful as was the help of the many members on duty at breakfast and dinner. This created a very enjoyable stay over a period of 5 nights. I do plan to return to the Eurostars Hotels such was my good experience in Cordoba. Hotel location is ideal and within easy reach of the Old Synagogue, the Juadaria area and the mesmerising and pectacular Horse stables and superb equestrian events held there. Similarly the history and design of the Mosque-Catedral explains in part the seismic changes that resulted from the attitudes and ideas of Los Reyes Catolicos. A visit to Cordoba helps one appreciate the essential Spain. And in addition to enjoy some excllent sherry and wine and outstanding hotel service. Well done to all at Hotel Maimonides Cordoba. One small criticism of the hotel which has nothing to do with the excellent service and the work done by all the staff. It is to do with essential internal improvenents which are the responsibility of owners, etc. The owner managers need to improve the bathroom facilities : the extractor fans did not work in the bathroom. The use of the shower was difficult to manage in order to prevent water accidentally or inadvertantly going on to the bathroom floor. Consequnty shower and bath need extensive up -dating. Also some of the seating in the hotel lobby while very comfotable needs attention. It has clearly had considerable "wear and tear" in recent times. These minor improvements would improve condiderably the hotel facilities and atmosphere..

It is at the heart of the old city -- a perfect location to walk to all the tourist spots. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. It is quiet most of the time.

It is a little old compared to what is shown in the pictures which I don't mind as long as it is accurately represented. There are times that the guests are noisy, with kids and adults talking loud in the corridors. There was also a time it seemed that the guests (a couple) were having a fight (they were speaking in Spanish) in the corridor.

This hotel's location is amazing! It's just in front of the Mezquita, and you feel the spirit of Cordoba even from the lobby of the hotel. With the historical architect of the hotel combined, this hotel is like a part of the historical old town of Cordoba. And besides, it's great that this hotel as it's own parking line.

Well, this is not a new building and many things could have been better like the breakfast quality, the room etc. But any of those was a problem for us because once we checked in, we thought this wasn't the issue in this hotel.

The location was fantastic-- on the square of the old town by the Mezquita. The room was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased that the parking was on site-- there was a lower level parking lot -- shaded, and an elevator to take us to our room.

We thought we had booked with breakfast included in the room price. We paid extra for breakfast each morning. The breakfast was very nice, but we thought it was included with the room price. We ate the "tourist dinner deal" at the hotel the first night. The food wasn't very good, so we ate elsewhere the second night. There were very few people eating at the hotel for dinner. I recommend the hotel offer something better if they want to attract a dinner crowd.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the city centre, just in front of the Cathedral. We had a spacious family room above a quiet street. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly and very helpful, we could leave our luggage in storage for the day after check out. The hotel is a perfect starting point to explore the city. They also have a parking garage, but space is limited, so they offer a discount for the bigger "Parking La Mezquita de Cordoba" which is just a few hundreds meters away on the main Avenue.

We regret that we only stayed one night!

The location was ideal, we were right outside the Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba. The downstairs seating area was beautiful and bright, surrounded by plants and mosaic tiles. There were several restaurants within the area. Tostadas and a coffee came up to around 3 euros which was very cheap. The room was great, we were accommodated very well and the staff let us check in early as I had fell and injured my knee earlier that morning. Pricewise it was very cheap and the room was clean with a fridge equipped.

Location was amazing, right in the center of jewish quarter and close to very nice streets and cute stores and restaurants. Also close to all the attractions, hotel is literally in front of the mezqita. Entrance was free from 8.30 to 9.30 so location was very convenient. Staff was helpful, they helped is with parking and gave recommendations about restaurants and things to do in Cordoba. Breakfast was okay, open bouffe had variety.

Accessing the hotel was a bit complicated but with the instructions hotel sent few days before our visit helped a lot. So you should pay attention to the email they sent when you are travelling.

Good 3 star hotel, located in front of the mezquita with great views if you have a window looking out. The rooms are large and very clean. Breakfast buffet is nice. Service is super friendly. Good value for money

Rooms in need of a bit of modernization as they look very 80-90's. I had a hotel facade lighting spotlight right above my window which lit my room in a bright orange for half the night. I had a mezquita facing room: gets really noisy after 6.30am as delivery vans come to supply neighbouring businesses
