Casa de los Naranjos

The hotel was small and charming. Very helpful staff, though some spoke little English (and I spoke little Spanish). The breakfast was sufficient (toasted rolls with tomato purée and finely chopped ham, hard boiled eggs, small yogurts, fruit, VERY strong coffee). We checked out and (with the staff’s help) left our luggage in a locked closet for a final day’s wander in Córdoba.

I had hoped to be able to ask about local attractions and events at the hotel, but since my Spanish was not good enough and their English was limited, I had to find that information elsewhere. Other than that, I was very pleased with our stay.

The Casa de los Naranjos is a great small hotel with super kind hosts and very comfortable accommodation. The breakfast provided is plentiful and varied. There are two central courtyards with tables and chairs and garden to enjoy as well. The rooms are a good size with space for bags and clothes, everything was exceptionally clean and the bathroom roomy and great hot water. Wifi excellent during my stay.The area is peaceful and very convenient for walking to the main places to visit, but not in the middle of tourist-areas (a plus). There are plenty of eating places 5 to 10 mins walking, a supermarket round the corner. Also about 20 minutes walk to the train station which included a pleasant park. Luggage can be left after check-out which is great.

No complaints at all - a great place to stay, and Cordoba is a delight to visit.

The interior decoration reflects the culture and history of Cordoba. The ambience is delightful. I had a real sense of the city from the moment I stepped inside the hotel. The Male receptionist was friendly, welcoming and very informative too. I also had a sense of security as the external doors were under CCTV and have a keypad operation to enter the property once the reception is closed. A shame I missed the breakfast as I had a very early check-out.

Disliked · Access to the lavatory was difficult as a glass table juts over the lavatory seat. This must be very difficult for elderly and or infirm people

Oh my goodness... absolutely delightful. Just far enough away ( 10-15 minutes walk) from the main Plaza, and subsequent lane walks down to the Mosque. Quiet, peaceful - the family who own it are delightful Breakfast was personalised - and well laid out. Like all Hotels- their car parking is tight for medium sized cars ( Mine was a Renault Megane- so I needed a seven point turn manoeuvre to get in and out )

Lovely traditional hotel with rooms surrounding a courtyard, so pretty. Very easy walk to the centre. Nice and plentiful breakfast. Whilst the rooms are small they have everything you need. Parking is just down the road on the left. If you stop outside the staff will walk down with a key to unlock Dog friendly.

Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Great location. We turned up early hoping to leave our bags but they had a room ready for us straight away. Not too far from the station and close to the sightseeing bus routes.

Beds very bouncy and not very comfortable. No holder for shower spray.

The casa was lovely rustic historical. In summer the courtyards would be beautiful to use. Breakfast was great, friendly helpful staff. Nearby parking helpful.

There is quite a bit of street noise for the front rooms at nights but this can’t be helped

Lots of character, good location in the old town and a lovely breakfast included. Staff were all attentive and friendly. About a 15 minute walk to the Mesquita which is fine but felt like longer in 39c! Thank you to the team for a lovely stay.

Car park is a bit tight with a larger car but manageable. No lift but only one flight of stairs, ground floor rooms are available for any guest less mobile.

Location is great. We were lucky to find free parking on the street over the weekend. It's a cozy hotel.

Breakfast was just ok compared to other hotels we stayed mostly in Portugal. In our room the shower was not the most comfortable design.

This small family-fun hotel is in an excellent location and very lovingly taken care of — you can tell the owners take great pride in the history and decoration of their home! My room was small but comfortable and included access to a beautiful courtyard patio, perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon. The homemade breakfast was one of the best I’ve enjoyed in Spain — thank you!
