Aparthotel Isla De Cabrera

The staff were lovely and provided us with some food when we arrived late after the evening service had closed. Our room was really nice and comfortable and very spacious. The beds were super comfy and we slept well. The bathroom was really lovely and the place very clean. The breakfast options were really good and varied. The main pool was great and not too cold with a lot of sun loungers available. We had our own towels, but they were available at the hotel for a small deposit. Good location with a supermarket and restaurants very close. Lots of beaches within easy walking distance.

I was travelling with my sister and our room looked over the main pool and entertainment area. Although I believe there was supposed to be a noise curfew this didn't appear to happen a couple of nights as there were still very loud kids outside gone 11pm. The music and entertainment was quite loud. We were told there were 2 x adult pools but each time we went to look there were kids there as well, so we stuck with the main pool (which was nice). The gym - although you needed a key there seemed to always have children in it playing, so not great for working out. These are all small things as we had a great stay and loved the place, but just feedback that could maybe be taken into consideration.

The hotel is close to the water and the beach there was perfect. It was small but there was another side to the bay that had more of a secluded beach. The food was phenomenal for a hotel. So many options for both breakfast and dinner. I loved that drinks were included in the breakfast. The pools were very nice and it was great that there was plenty to do. We were only there two days and we were able to play a bit of paddle and swim. Looks like there’s lots of activities for kids as well.

I would love to not have to put a deposit on beach towels. I absolutely understand why they use this system. I am also disappointed with booking.com. We searched for hotels based off four people (two adults and two kids). We booked our stay based off the results and paid for four guests. However it was not relayed to the hotel that it was 4 guests. This was the second time booking did this to our reservation so I called ahead to the hotel, unfortunately the hotel host didn’t understand what I was checking on and just insisted our room was ready. So when we got there there was confusion and we had to wait on our room to be ready. The hotel did everything they could to remedy the issue.

We had a late flight, so it was really useful to be able to leave our luggage in a storage, and use the pool and showers after being all day at the beach. The apartment was big! It had a lot of storage cupboards in the room and living room, that was pretty handy as we used the living room as another bedroom. Big wide balcony with pool views was very peaceful. Comfortable beds. The bathroom was stunning! Most modern, minimal, clean and big shower. Nice water pressure too. Loved it! We didn’t use the kitchen as we were there only a couple of days. The port is only a 10 min walk away or less, so there are a few nice restaurants. Everyone at the reception was super friendly and helpful. it’s got a nice large pool, and chairs to relax after a long day at the beach, as well as a ping pong table. The breakfast had everything, huge variety of nicely cut fruit, cereals, yogurt, cakes, pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. amazing!

Nothing bad. Would definitely stay again. Just a few improvements. The aircon wasn’t strong enough. Also it turned off during the night. Tip: all windows should be shut for the aircon to start, if not it won’t turn on. It would be nice if they mentioned that on reception on arrival. The coffee queue in the morning. There was only 1 lovely lady serving coffee, from 4 different automatic machines, behind a counter. It would be more agile if they had other 2 extra machines self service to make it yourself and go. Rather than generating a long queue, that runs across the whole breakfast area where people are preparing their bfast plates.

A very large, clean apartment with balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast and buffet dinner were very good. The hotel was only a short walk from the nearest beach and there was a large supermarket a couple of minutes' walk away. We enjoyed exploring the town and its several beaches. The building where the aquarium was located was very interesting and we were sorry we did not have time to visit the aquarium itself. We only spent one night here on a cycle tour of the island but would happily have stayed longer.

The facilities for self-catering were quite limited but not a problem for us as we only stayed one night.

Hard working staff both in the dining area and bar next to the pool. Very helpful reception staff and they always greet you with a smile. Excellent breakfast and dinner served. Less than 5 mins walk to clean white sandy beech. Apartment cleaned every day. House keeping staff work really hard. Overall a very good holiday destination for family.

Gym room outdated and equipments not in working condition . Sauna was not great. No steam in SPA room.

We visited Mallorca for the first time and chose this hotel as our first stop for three nights. We really enjoyed breakfast, a large, wide selection of everything and we also had dinner, which was also a wide selection and very tasty. The waiters and bartender were very nice and friendly.

When we checked out, we gave to the receptionist (a taller man with ponytale) a pleasant feedback, but unfortunately he was waiting for the moment when he could give us a warning because of a little delay (30 min) with the check-out. He was quite arrogant with us. This comment should have been absent. It just made a bad impression about the administrator and about the hotel.

Nice Staff and Hotel.

At dinner the food was very bad. They were monotonous, tasteless and unseasoned. They weren't very tasty. As if the food was prepared by a dilettante, not a chef. The meats were also raw, tough and completely tasteless. It is recommended to change the chef to a chef who can really cook for the sake of the kitchen. The cold food was ok and the breakfast was also good.

Second time staying here. Love that we have an apartment - with kitchen and sitting area which are separate from the bedroom. All the rooms overlook the pool. Such a nice place to stay! Great wifi and the buffet food is delicious! Lovely pool and close to the beach.

The towel system is strange. We have to pay cash deposit. Would be better to have a token system.

Location, staff, breakfast, spacious apartments Nice little beach 5 mins away, however go to Platja Estanys, 15 min walk but superb.

Buffet dinner lacked variety (not enough sea food and fish, surprising for a hotel almost on the beach). Had to pay for water at dinner which is a little unfair considering it's included at breakfast

Apartments were a good size, bathrooms recently refurbished. Location was excellent, 2 min walk to supermarket and 5 min to the beach. Food was a good standard and lots of choice at breakfast and dinner.

Apartment itself was a little tired, could do with some modernisation. More sun beds by the pool would be helpful.
