GHT Balmes, Hotel-Aparthotel&SPLASH

Keeping this short as I have only got one arm having broken my other while in Spain. Excellent location for the Barcelona Ironman, the hotel even catered for it with lots of pasta and an early breakfast on race day. Food was adequate, but I'm not fussy! Bath and shower were good and clean. Having broken my arm most staff were helpful. Enough space in room and balcony to assemble bike. Location is awesome for train station, local shops and restaurants, Ironman race

The property was clean, with great curtains and a lot of kitchen equipment. Friendly staff members. I like the hotel’s location: close to the seaside, train station, city centre, shops and cafes. Good swimming pools for children and adults.

The twin bed was so high. Noise from the street and from other apartments. In the apartment was an insufficient number of sockets for charging phones. The hotel little old and the shower was a little broken.

the staff was the best and top on the list! the rooms were comfy. balcony just enough. the shower and HOT water was so good. the pool and buffet were more than enough. I only gave less star because my friends said their room smelled like mold.and my sisters room had a drip from the ceiling in the bathroom. fixed but still….. not good.

This hotel was just brilliant from start to finish. The hotel itself is spotless and the decor is really nice. All of the staff were so so kind and very helpful. The entertainment during the day at the pool for kids and adults such as water arobix ect was great fun. The kids pool is great. I could write an essay honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If you have kids this is the place to go in barcalona. Not far from the beach or the shops and restaurants.

Nothing at all everything was perfect

The hotel offers great value for money. It's got 3 pools + jacuzzi. My kid loved it. The kids pool is great too. There's also a kids room with some toys in there. I spent the weekend at this hotel, it was quite relaxing. Hotel wasn't full. There's animation for the kids. My kid loved the kids disco. Food was also good. Overall for the price you pay this hotel offers great value. Would go back again

Stayed for the 70.3 Ironman. Hotel was clean, great activities for kids. Had a bike storage room and done an early breakfast on race morning. Staff were friendly. Pool bar food and drinks were very good value and quality. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms and had air con.

Room was a bit dated. Small bits to fix.

A good choice for my IronMan extended week-end stay (Oct 1st) - well equipped and spacious bike room, adapted early breakfast in the race day Rich breakfast, with plenty of options (including appropriate dishes for (tri)athletes)

- slightly overpriced - some rooms may be slightly noisy - from the loud music in nearby restaurants

The pool and courtyard were delightful, and the staff was wonderful - they were consistently friendly and helpful.

There was a very noisy and rowdy group of guests at the hotel for a few days - they kind of ruined the sense of peace and comfort for a while, but fortunately they left after a few days.

Food in the buffet is So good thanks to restaurant team maria, pepe, kaka and Aleix. Rooms are clean and done daily. Adi did effortly the kids club animation mine 5 and 3 years old where happy. Anytime u go to pool there is available seats. Good variety of Snacking is at the same price as outside

Nothing special. No parking. But this is common to almost all hotels here. Reception have indicated me where to park freely in the city.

The staffs were very kind.

The water in the pool was too cold for my 2 year old son. He didn’t enjoy to swim.
