We stayed 6 days at Hotel Baladrar, situated just some hundreds meters from the beach with crystalline water. A better accommodation and place to stay is difficult to find. Our room has a wonderful view to the sea and was very clean and spacious. But the best part of the hotel are the terrace with the view to the peninsula Ifach and its welcoming hosts Rabi and Kim. The breakfast and dinner they served every day were just special. The food was from outstanding quality and presented in a refined way. The cuisine was various with french and Algerian influences. All was accompanied by Rabi's interesting stories and relaxing music selection. Thank you again for the unforgettable holiday.

We liked the older typical Spanish style of the property, like being in a time warp. Comfortable bed, en-suite shower room, mini fridge in room. Excellent knowledgeable friendly proprietor (Rabi) who also speaks perfect English. Lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, croissant, jams, cheese and cold meat, juice, tea or coffee. Bars, restaurants and beach in walking distance.

Things that would be useful in room:- 2 Glasses, bathmat, hand soap. Tricky to walk along the road as there are no pavements like on many Spanish country roads.

Rabi is a charming, fascinating host and Kim, his wife prepared an excellent dinner and breakfast. Easy parking was a bonus Altogether a very enjoyable experience. Good local Jumilla wine and huge gin and tonics at very reasonable price Lovely sea view from room. Little creek and beach nearby

Everything! the room had completely separate spaces for ourselves and the children - they had their own AC and bathroom which was novel for them. Easy parking. The view was spectacular. Relaxed, unhurried small hotel feeling. Most of all, we loved meeting the owner, Rabi, a passionate historian and all round interesting, educated and nice guy.

Less sweet treats for the children at breakfast, please! (They were happy though.)

Friendly welcome. Small hotel with lovely view from rooms and terrace. Nicely situated on unspoiled stretch of coast. Ample free parking. Good breakfast and very reasonably priced evening meals. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Very different from the concrete hotel towers down the coast. A rare find which recalls the pleasure of what travelling in Spain used to be like. Strongly recommended.

Owners were very accomodating and friendly , and the chef served very presentable good quality dishes. The room was spotless with a great view across to Calpe.

It would have been nice to have had tea making facilities in the room. We do like a cuppa first thing.

idyllic location with fabulous views. the owner cannot do enough for you and I highly recommend taking the evening meal there. Delicious food with lots of choice and excellent value for money. you won’t be disappointed.

A lovely and quirky little hotel and a very interesting and charming owner. Breakfast was very generous and the views stunning ,of Calpe and the Penon d’Ifach

Nice breakfast enjoyed on a terrace with the most stunning view over the great rock just off Calpe, We were looked after by Rabi from beggining to end and he shared much time with us over a glass or two of wine in the evening too.

Not a lot really.

To go more often to the hotel, is was excellent in ALL areas

There was nothing we did not like, everything was so good, location, staff, accomodation, todo!
