Alta House Begur

cute breakfast, many options and super nice to sit by the pool in the small garden. really nice hotel and amazing roofftop. the best view for real/

our room was next to the reception and the balcony was above the breakfast garden and we had a bit noise sometimes.... as well i wanted to re-fill my water bottle and there was no place at all... also in breakfast.. i went to the back kitchen and they filled my bottle from the tap there. i would suggest to add a cooler in the lobby, it was really hot wether.

Room was lovely and cool - air conditioning excellent and not noisy at all Lighting was great Bathroom very clean and modern Quilt just the right weight for the heat Breakfast was really lovely on both days (left too early on last day to eat) Good entrance with key fob - easy to go in and out Lovely setting for breakfast if you sit under the tree

An iron in the room would be nice Mirror in the main bedroom would allow one person to get ready whilst other uses the bathroom Replenishing the bottled water for multiple day stays would be a nice touch Bowl or box under the bathroom sink to put toiletries in would help keep things neat Not clear how the shower taps work, found it difficult to switch it on/off Ran out of black tea bags after the first day

Breakfast was very good. Not super many things to choose but everything was very good and it was enough. It was nice to be able to get a dip in the pool in the evenings

The pool is too close to the breakfast area for a morningswim because other people are having breakfast close by. Also you can hear other people talking in the other rooms or on the hallway even when they are not being loud at all. But those are things that are critic on a high level. It's a very nice hotel.

The room was beautiful and spotless ! From the balcony we had a wonderful view of the garden and swimming pool. Because of the tramontane, we had breakfast inside but it was such a pleasure , being welcome by the owner and then enjoying such à diversified and delicious food. The young lady at the front desk was also very nice, efficient, and helpful . I will come back and share this wonderful experience with my friends . Thanks again!

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, gorgeous room with everything we needed for 2 nights. The pool and rooftop bar provided a perfect little oasis for us to relax in when we arrived. Begur is an extremely beautiful place and would very much recommend staying at Alta House. Breakfast in the morning was lovely but very simple

The AC is centrally controlled so if you like a cooler room, you won't be able to change the temperature of your room. Not a massive issue but something to be aware of

The hotel is very nice. The decor, grounds and pool were lovely. We had the room with a castle view which was special. The location is ideal to walk to the various coves dotted along the coastline. The staff is superb. The breakfast is generous, fresh and delicious. We ate at two nearby restaurants L'autèntic and La Pizzeta and recommend both without hesitation. Also, make a stop at the patisserie Pa de Pessic. The candied oranges are a wonderful and unique treat

This hotel is very tastefully decorated down to the last detail. Even the mini fridge is classy! The view from the rooftop is gorgeous and having a pool is a plus, although we were there out of season so we didn´t swim. We appreciated the fact that a varied breakfast was included, and also the owner and the staff´s kindness and attention. We will come back!

location super very central to the main town of Begur. very clean and tidy. lovely smell on arrival in reception.

Bedroom quite small and no mirror except for the bathroom one. would have been nice for some handing space in the bathroom- like hooks on back of door or wall. i would have liked to have been able to hand used pool towels into reception to get fresh ones but this wasn’t an option. there was no where to dry the towels after using them.

Perfect location in Begur, excellent quality of the breakfast, many restaurants near by, very clean room

Little choice at the breakfast buffet, food is replenished slowly sometimes, hotel parking slot is very small - difficult to park there without any help from a second person

The owner and staff were really nice. The views from the rooftop bar are gorgeous and breakfast was simple but great.

We had to wait 20 minutes to get our room ready. If you have to leave the room to 12pm and you cannot do your check in until 3pm, I think there is plenty of time to get the rooms ready.
