Avenida Hotel

Excellent location. Right in the centre of the city so walking distance to everything. We had a car to be able to drive around. (Mainly to the hospital which was the reason for our stay) Amazing staff- so friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond for us! Yummy breakfast- lots of options and very fresh. I even loved the options of plant milks to have with coffee which is hard to find in Spain. Exceptional cleanliness. Our room was cleaned every day and everywhere in the hotel was spotless all the time Fresh decor. The hotel was modern Comfy beds! With extra blankets provided if needed. Great shower pressure! Air con in the room Blackout curtains to shut out the light & road noise The reception smelt beautiful every time I walked in

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been nice. Bathroom probably is due a refurb, but was spotlessly clean.

Bed very big and comfortable, ehough storage space if you want to be there for longer, reception 24/7 so very convenient, bathroom is quite big as well and comes equipped with a bidet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good also, right next to a Michelin restaurant. There is a laundry mat very close by and also a patisserie if you want to grab breakfast.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell. There wasn't a button to start the extract fan, so I assume that's why. Also, although they had parking, we were asked to pay for it, which was a bit odd. Oli still recommend it.

A good hotel with a really excellent breakfast suitable for all dietary needs. The hotel isn’t too near the old part of the town but only a fifteen minute walk through a pleasant area. Large shopping mall five minutes walk away. There is a car park belonging to the hotel but there is plenty of street parking which seemed safe.

For some people climbing up the hill to the hotel would be a nuisance but there is a regular bus service which runs all the way down to the promenade.

A wonderful stay at the Avenida hotel - Everything was a bonus - ambiance/decoration - space - public areas - restaurants in fact all the lay out has make of the generous space that comes with a new build location. May I give special thanks to reception staff who were so friendly, on the ball and efficient. An everything breakfast too ... we chatted and tasted so many different tastes over many minutes. Car parking below the hotel was a great bonus - Almeria has no car parking. Such good value for money. I have paid this price for bed and breakfast in a non starred hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

this hotel was very comfortable. The personnel were very nice; I arrived at 9:30 am and since they had a room available, they allowed me to check in early, which was so appreciated. Breakfast is quite varied and large which was good as well.

it's not really close to the center of town; you'll need to take a bus to get into the city center, but the bus is fairly easy to navigate and only costs 1.05 euro each ride.

Excellent hotel and value for money. Staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. Polite, helpful, friendly always on hand 24 hrs. Room very comfortable and clean. Great location. Would highly recommend. 100%

Cannot fault Avenida Hotel. Perfect in every way.

room was comfortable for a 2 night stay,bed was a bit firm but comfortable, mini fridge stocked at reasonable prices and everywhere in the hotel was lovely and clean and tidy.Breakfast was excellent,lots of nice bread and good choices on fruit,cereal,yoghurt,eggs etc.

fridge could have been a bit cooler,couldnt adjust it.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable the best we have had in any hotel. Everything clean. Bar was very nice and the art work on the walls exceptional.

The only thing was that the water in the sink in bathroom was very slow going down but as we were only there for the night it didn't spoil things.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights whilst on business. The staff were polite and efficient. The room quite small but adequate. It is reasonable comfortable and mostly clean (the toilet a little bit stained and a few hairs). The wifi is a bit strange - I eventually connected via telephone and iPad though my Windows computer would not connect - a bit inconvenient since I was here for work. The location is slightly away from the centre which is good for parking. There is a shopping centre, some bars and some restaurants close by.

Not too much - the wifi and one or two cleaning issues, but generally good.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and I would probably choose it again if I needed something "uptown." Friendly, helpful staff, nice big room, and a great breakfast (9 euros, I believe, and well worth it). I wish the bed had thicker blankets, though!

Please put thicker blankets on the beds!
