Hotel El Mirador

Room size was great, location perfect for us. The setting is amazing, with fantastic views over the area. The shower in our room was amazing. Staff that we saw were very friendly. Not sure what facilities the hotel has and also not sure if it has a restaurant or serves breakfast, we didn't get told. Value for money was great. Plenty of car parking facilities too.

A little more information on whether there was a restaurant or not would have been helpful, but not a big deal.

Swimming pool works from 11:30 to 20:00,if you travel around,chances of enjoying ir are low.Rooms could have a mini fridge,as hotel got no breakfast option, so if staying longer its a must to put your youghurts of fruits

Driving into the car park, it was clear the owners took pride in first impressions. Everything was super clean and well maintained. For once, the reality of a place was even better than the photographs. A grand fountain tinkled amongst expertly pruned trees and bushes. The girl on reception was polite and friendly. My room was huge and immaculately cleaned with everything I needed for my comfort. The grounds to this hotel are majestic with amazing views across to the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The room had aircon which I didn’t really need but the white noise helped me to sleep while other guests arrived late. Rooms are accessed from an outside balcony where others tend to stand and chat/smoke. Maybe it was just a busy night. Ask for a room at the end of the balcony if you want an early night!

A male (possibly the manager) was quite rude to the receptionists when she asked if it was possible for an earlier breakfast. There was no explanation just “no”. She told me it was just a tostada so I don’t think I missed much. All the guests left early with me so they lost all our business there. There are lovely cafes as you drive into town which open early so no shortages of places to grab breakfast.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and clean. We had to leave before the breakfast service, but the bar had some toast and hot drinks to offer, which was very convenient. The city nearby has some good restaurants and can be reached by car in 5 mins.

That we didn't have time to enjoy the pool.

Breakfast non existent (only toast available) - better to advice people to bring own breakfast as it was annoying to discover on the moment - no juice or cereal/croissants!!! Not good at all!! A bowl of cereal would have been amazing than dry toast. Shower gel non existent also - bring your own !!

Fabulous looking hotel. The terrace has a view to die for as you watch the sunset over the mountains. Pool is big and warm. Rooms clean. Lovely grounds.

No lift. Had to haul luggage upstairs. Breakfast was late opening up one morning so we just had a coffee at the bar. We had a terrace which was nice, but another occupied room opened on to it. Pool could do with more attention.

The view from our room was excellent- all across the Guadelhoche Valley to the hills beyond. Breakfast was a toasted bread roll with butter, jam and coffee cost €5

Tuning in to Wi-Fi was difficult

Beautiful surroundings in an exceptional condition. Well done to all. Don’t expect full Hotel service. That’s not their offering especially at the moment with COVID still hanging around.

No proper breakfast. Continental is not a small packet of dry biscuits and a cake which a mouse could swallow in one go.

This is a beautiful hotel with a very comfortable bed. I only stayed 1 night as I was in Alhaurin el Grande for a meeting. The staff I met were very helpful and considerate.

At times there was a loud noise as though there was a washing machine on the spin cycle for quite a while.

location was excellent with stunning views The building is full of character and is very clean we were welcomed and checked in at nearly 11.00pm by a pleasant receptionist after a delayed flight

Nothing that wasn’t due to the effects of the pandemic ie it was very quiet and the dining room was closed
