Hotel Foret The Spa

The bathroom was clean, the separate bath and shower were great. The room was spatious and clean as well. Staff was also very helpful by ordering us a taxi and helping us find a laundromat.

We couldn't control the heater in our room, so it was always a little too warm. The hotel didn't have a laundromat, but there was one 10 minutes away (by walking).

A large and clean room with all amenities provided - such as bottled water, tea/coffee packets, body sponge, toothbrush, combs. On the top floor, there is a washing machine and dryer that is free for guests to use, with laundry detergent provided. A lovely lady, Luna Kim, took care of our check-in and check-out process and was of great help to our many queries. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again for future trips!

I was able to check-in earlier which was great because it was raining like hell at my arrival. The room was very spacious and I liked it that there was a shower and a bath tub. The toilet was in a separated room which was cool too. It was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. I had a fridge, huge TV and enough space for my luggage. If I come back to Busan I'd like to book this hotel again. Maybe not at the second floor and with a better view would be nice. It was also very close to the main station of Busan. Very convenient. The subway station is right around the corner.

Unfortunately the room wasn't that sound proof like I hoped. I could hear the subway, trains and traffic outside although the window was closed and when my neighbors took a bath it felt like I was having one with them because of the splashing noise. The air conditioner description was unfortunately only in Korean. In the middle of the first night it turned on automatically, which was loud, and I was woken up by it. I had some difficulties to turn off the auto mode due to the language barrier.

It was honestly one of the best find I’ve ever had! It was new, the nearby area was quiet and safe, 2 convenient stores right next to the building and most importantly, I love how affordable it was when I didn’t have to compromise on comfort and relaxation. The room was simple but had everything I needed: - bright light through the window, double layers curtain - a safe - a mini fridge - a massive TV with so many channels - super high speed and stable internet - a bathtub - the shower and water pressure (to die for!) - daily house keeping - bidet - clean linen and towel I also love how the subway station is literally 2 mins walk from the hotel, with plenty of cafes nearby if you need your daily doses of coffee. The nearby station (Choryang) is only 1 stop away from the Busan station, which makes my stay central enough to go places, but I don’t have to deal with the overcrowded traffic and noise, especially at night. I honestly could go on and on about this hotel, because for me as a solo traveller - comfort and safety were the most important. I love that there’s someone at the check in counter 24/7 who speaks English, and that throughout my trip I’ve had such good sleep that helped me stay energised to go sightseeing and experience Busan to the fullest!

I would have liked for the front desk to have a little bit more insights to recommend. For example, if I could book tours through them, or if they have local suggestion on what to do and where to go. Sometimes our research don’t reflect the most-up-date information, so it’ll be nice if they could share some relevant highlights during my visit. But this is really a bonus and good to have, so overall no complaint at all from me!

During our 2-day stay in Busan the hotel met all our expectations. The reception was very professional and we were not only simply given the room card but also asked again after we had arrived in the room whether everything was clear or if anything else was needed. The room was very clean, quiet and had a wonderful wooden spa bath. After our stay we were super relaxed and were able to continue exploring Busan. We were even so relaxed that we forgot our tablets in the safe after checkout. But that was no problem at all. A phone call or short message was enough to inform the hotel and have the tablets deposited at reception. We were then able to pick them up after the day trip before taking the train back to Seoul. A really good service.

Very close to subway. Design like Japanese style, just for information that public bath (Onsen) is not available for standard room.

We were in a room with the large spa-bath. Made full use of this using some of the bath products available to buy at reception. Room was a great size and kept very clean. Location close to Busan rail station and thus plenty of easy to reach options for food etc. Breakfast was provided by a Vietnamese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel and was very good. Not usually a breakfast person but took full advantage for this stay.

The hotel is on a back street parallel to one of the big, main roads (which Busan Station is on). The pavements are a bit narrow and would be tricky to negotiate in places for someone with accessibility issues. Crossings the roads at junctions proved to require extra vigilance.

Room was comfortable, spacious and great value for money. The bed was to our liking and the spa bath was so nice after a long day of walking. The hotel is an easy 5 min walk from Choryang Station. Staff were always welcoming and friendly.

Found there was a bit of mould on the ceiling of the bathroom as it gets quite steamy in there. It wasn't an issue for us as a couple but I did also find the windows looking into the bathroom a little strange. The hotel location is also not the most ideal as there is not much happening around that neighborhood. No washers or dryers inside the hotel so a little inconvenient if you're staying for longer.

Nice room with timber (cedar) bath tube. Perfect location - very close to subway station, Busan train station. Staff was amazingly nice and friendly. Special thanks to Joseph for answering tons of our questions and handling special requests. It is always tricky to find Gluten Free food in Korea, but they did their best and adjusted breakfast dishes ingredients for our requirements - that was lovely.

Sound insulation in room is not perfect.

Hotel Foret the Spa is fairly well situated, about 10-15min by foot from Busan Station, and just around the corner from a metro station, so it's fairly easy to get around town, even if the hotel itself it situated in a more quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly and pleasant upon arrival and check-in was efficient and easy. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and bright. The highlight was of course the bathroom with a large Hinoki bathtub (which was just lovely and made the stay feel like being in an onsen). The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Definitely would recommend.
