Lovely home and place. Just that the main employee cannot speak English and if the host is not around that's a big problem. Also arrange transport to get there before you book coz the locals will try and get 5oo much money out of you knowing you are tourists. Host is very lovely would offer to drop us off at many destinations if she is around.

The non English speaking staff and there was a Todd incident which the host laughed about but we were really startled to wake up and see a little frog in one of my friend's shoes. But these are minors it's really a great place with beautiful scenery all round and a quietness

Zanalee was very welcoming and friendly. Her bubbly personality was very welcome after a long drive. The room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated having the gas heater and electric blanket as the nights and mornings were cold. The position of the house at the far end of the street was wonderful as it was away from the centre of town.

Host, Zanalee went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our extended 17 day stay. Her gourmet breakfasts were exceptional and we enjoyed them each morning outside at the covered picnic table right outside our room.

The welcoming was out of this world, even though I was supposed to check in at 2 I was able to do it earlier in the morning and again I was able to check out after normal time because of the delayment at the magistrate court . So I can only say thank you very much 🌹

We had an amazing stay! The owner is super friendly and helpful. She really made feel us comfortable and welcome. The house is super beautiful, it's a really old building. Beautiful decorated. The room is super big and clean. Comfortable bed. Location is good and safe, with private parking area. Everything you need. We really recommend this place!

Nice location on the edge of town. Room was clean and cleaned every day. There was a heater and electric blanket very important in winter. Breakfast was great. There was coffee and tea, kettle, microwave and fridge provided in the room which is important when it's not self catering, it makes life comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place and the friendly owner and staff.

It would have been nice to have a shower curtain so not everything will get wet in the bathroom. Or a mop.

The host attended to and prepared our breakfast herself and we really enjoyed it. We had a peaceful and comfortable sleep after a long drive. will definitely sleep there again.

Just a minor maintenance, bathroom door needs to be oiled it had a squeaky sound when opening and closing.

Zanalee was the best hostess we experienced on our road trip. Nothing was too much for her. Rooms are huge with huge bathroom

If I was to complain about anything it would be a minor maintenance issue, which was that the shower door does not close.

Perfect to make a stop on our way . WE felt really welcome and was really nice and clean also really quiet to have some rest . The breakfast was huge with everything WE need . Zanelee was si nice to us and full of energy to procide every thing WE want . For sure one of the best place to stay in Ladybrand

The accommodation was wonderful - would recommend staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful (told us load-shedding times on arrival and provided generator backup). The breakfast was superb. Hope to stay here again. There is a lovely garden available to relax in. All quiet & peaceful.
