Hotel Piramida

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The room was quite large, plenty of storage space and city views. Air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities were provided. Breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. Car parking available in the hotel grounds, but there is a daily charge. Very convenient location for Maribor rail and bus stations, and not far from the city centre.

I wonder if they really need to charge guests a daily rate for parking when there is plenty of parking space on the property around the outside of the hotel.

The first impression might be disappointing for the traveler. The hotel looks old and the furniture outdated, but if someone doesn't mean to spend lots of time indoors, it serves the purpose of a pleasant stay at a budget. It is centrally located, offers private parking at an affordable price, superb breakfast with plenty of choices and decent size rooms with a refrigerator. The staff is helpful and the cleaning ladies do a really good job.

A bigger bathroom and some amenities would make an even better stay.

Location - Very near to International bus station, which i had to take to Vienna next day, just 2 mins walk. 10 mins walk from City Center. Calm Area so you can park for free around, and secured parking for 10Euro, I parked inside as i needed to get lot of luggage from rental car, as i had to return my rental car. As its not in main road, its easier to get inside the hotel or park by car who is driving car for 1st time in Europe. Breakfast - Excellent breakfast, one of the best in the Europe trip. Everything was tasty, two types of eggs omelet, Full hot vegetarian food, which you don't find in most hotel in Europe for breakfast. Room- Definitely not a budget hotel, spacious, luxurious , lovely bathroom with two shower place.

No complimentary water bottle, which is surprising for this hotel offering good things. Was charged 3 Euros. Hotel should work on it give at least 2 bottle of complimentary water. should not be included in Bar.

The Piramida Hotel is located 3 minutes from the railway station, great for travelling by train or bus. There was internet available. With electric kettle in the room it was possible to have a cup of tea at the evening. There was also a walking distance to the main attractions of Maribor. Personnel was great and very helpful. Breakfasts were well organized.

The only think I could complain about is TV set - I have had to switch it on and off using a button of the TV set not on the remote controller... And after each switching on the speakers were giving very loud sound.

The hotel is closely located to the city center and the railway / bus station, which really easens the access to the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, it was perfect for a one-night stay. The breakfast has a very huge variety, catering for every taste.

The bathroom is quite modern and totally clean, however taking a shower is somehow not an easy task without flooding all the bathroom due to the lack of proper walls.

the location of the hotel is very central (right next to the local prison but no issues with that :) ), the breakfast was amazing with both local and international options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating too.

they charge 15eur a night for dogs, which is more or less common practice, but I would expect some basic setup, like a plate with water in the room etc., to have at least some value for that money.

Breakfast was very good. There was plenty of choices and a good selection of fruits also.

It advertised tea and coffee facilities, but it was for one day only. I was surprised to find this out as I expected coffee\tea to be replenished on a daily basis. Also hotel advertised a sauna but I didn’t expect there to be a charge.

Being on the way to Italy we stoped here for a night. The room is very clean and tidy. A very nice complimentary breakfast buffet is included with a variety of food choices. The hotel is conveniently located as it is a short walk from the town centre. The staff are very friendly.

location is good that it is not far from railway station and old town. very nicely finished inside. Good breakfast

not the most romantic destination between what looks like police station and blocks of flats but if you do not care about this and are out than no concerns

Good value. Clean rooms. Located in walking distance (10 min.) from town center. Own parking outside hotel. Good breakfast choices.

Wifi signal in room was poor. The location of the hotel is ok for a business trip but the whereabouts can be a bit unromantic if you travel for leisure.
