Ambient Hotel

I'm a loyal customer and I'm really satisfied with this hotel. This time I got a room with a nice view from the window to a small river. The apartment was clean and cosy as always.

Just two small notes. We didn't manage to turn on the heating in our room (usually it works with no problems) and in the morning there was a misunderstanding because of the breakfast and two different rooms. I would appreciate it if I've been told about this during the check-in. Except for this, everything was fine.

Odmah na dolasku osjetili smo dobrodošlicu od cura koje rade na recepciji. Veoma brz chech in i bile su na usluzi za sve što nam treba. Sobe su velike i prostrane i čiste. Krevet je veliki u veoma udoban. S obzirom na izgled i sve što nudi smještaj nije skup. Pozicija je dobra i treba vam 15 minuta autom do centra grada. Perking obezbjedžen ispred objekta.

Sobe imaju problem sa grijanjem sa obzirom da su velike a griju se samo uz pomoć klima uređaja i ne može da grije cijeli prostor nego samo sobu gdje smo boravili. Toalet je bio vrlo hladan. Mjesto u kojem se nalaze apartmani je baš zavučeno i nije baš neka zona za šetanje van objekta.

The hotel provided really delicious breakfast. Also, the accommodation itself and the yard looked nice. The room, towels and bed clothes were clean. Additionally, I appreciate that the hotel stuff allowed me to check in earlier.

Actually, I was a bit confused with the room details during the booking. I booked the room for two people with a terrace. However when I came to the hotel, I was offered the room with the additional bed (like for three people) and with no terrace. I'm not sure why this misunderstanding accrued but overall my experience with the hotel was good.

A pleasant country-style hotel located around 20min driving from the City Center of Ljubljana. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, breakfast was reasonable. The outside seating area was very nice to relax at the end of a long day. I would like to thank to Tina from the Reception for being exceptionally friendly and teaching me some Slovenian words 😊

Breakfast could be improved. However, we had dinner twice at the hotel and it was a great deal (12€/person for buffet, not including drinks). Room pictures did not look exactly like in reality.

Nice hotel with good breakfast for reasonable money.

We booked economy room, but after 1 night the bed didnt fit us and we didnt sleep well. We asked if there is chance to change the room (we would pay the difference between old and new room). During the morning they told us there was another room, but in the afternoon it was not possible anymore. It was disappointing.

- rooms actually look much better than in the photos! Seems that rooms have been recently renovated. Rooms looks also much better than reception and staircases, so don't be afraid :) - rooms are big, comfortable, with AC, with lights control next to the bed on both sides, with power supply next to the bed on both sides and are pretty big (>20m2). - rooms and especially the bathroom are very clean. - dog-friendly place! 5e for dog, no problems at all and there is some green area where you can walk with the dog - location - it's in the center of country and next to the highway so you can easily get out in any direction. 10min to Lubljana City Center, 30-40 minutes to Bled, 1h to Krjanska Gora, 1,5h to the coast (Piran), 1h to famous caves. At the same time town that it is located it offer everything you need (without driving to Lubljana), meaning bars, restaurants, cafes, markets, gas stations - breakfast are ok, nothing fancy, nothing special but everyone will find something for him

- mini fridge in the room would make a big difference. I've missed it a lot, as well as coffee/tea set in the room - I've missed some fresh vegatables on the breakfest, only some pickled ones.

It was clean and had a hairdryer. The breakfast was quite good.

The room was very small, with some kind of bookcase, that made it seem smaller. The walls need cleaning. It wasn't as the photos. Also, it had a small window with some old fashioned curtains, like a dungeon. It needs renovation. It's only good for one or two nights. No way more.

Very comfortable twin beds and the room was a perfect size (but I have to mention it was a complimentary upgrade in my case). Room and bathroom temperature were perfect (cold April overnight stay). Parking lot visible from the room, which provided a feeling of extra security.

The receptionist could use a smile. The lighting of the parking lot provides zero visibility in the dark, someone must have gone overboard choosing the most elaborate system with the worst possible performance.

It is a nice hotel, breakfast is perfect and value for money. The area around the hotel is very nice to walk around. If you will park your car at the hotel and will use the public transportation, you need to check the buses especially on the weekend because Google maps doesn't show up the real timing, also take cash, there is no app allows you to buy the ticket online. This is extra comment has nothing with hotel but Ljubljana/Slovenia doesn't allow you to buy anything online, they are a bit late in this field

It is a nice place, I can't complain

I liked the price and the lady at the reception. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom also was very clean and tidy. Hotel is very clean and the parking is large. I didn't stay long but for the price it is more than good.

I didn't like the size of the room. It also had small window that was looking to the crops. But for the price I paid for one night it was more than I expected. I would definitively stay there again.
