The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa

Beautiful resort with lovely pool areas. Very large and modern rooms with a stunning bathroom. Towels at the pool are provided as well as bottled water which is a nice touch. The staff were all excellent, room service was quick and delicious. Check in was fantastic - special thanks to the Maroccan receptionist who made me feel very welcome after a long flight and a 5.30am check in.

The Location - you can't just wander around as there is nothing to explore or any shops around. The Resort sits along a major road. In saying that - a quick 5min taxi trip for AUD 4 and you can reach Souq Wafiq. Taxis have to be paid in cash though.

I don't have personal opinions or experiences, but based on the collected reviews, the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa seems to be a well-regarded property. I was dissatisfied with the reception staff's service on the 29th and also today during my checkout. Specifically, when discussing the refund of the 10 QAR deposit, the staff member seemed dismissive, implying it was customary for customers to leave it with the hotel. I insisted on the refund, as the receptionist on the 29th had advised me to collect it upon departure. This inconsistency and the staff's attitude were disappointing, especially as I needed to collect all my funds before returning to my country.

The Front Office Manager - Mr. Ashif - was very helpful as I had to change my noisy room. The staff in general is very polite and helpful. The Breakfast but also the Lunch and Dinner (Gill Hunters) was marvellous. I also had a pick-up service ordered from/to the airport - was perfect! This Hotel will be always my first choice. what was really totally nice was the surprise on the last evening - we had our business dinner at the excellent Room & Grill Hunter. There was a sweet surprise for me at the end - I have been travelling internationally for 30 years, but this was by far the nicest surprise I have ever received - THANK YOU! :)

Asked for a quiet room (was arriving around midnight); unfortunately the room was next to the crental A/C so first night was not so comfortable. However I was able to change room next day and the staff was really helpful. Thanks again for this! To manage the room lights is a bit of master exam (at least for me) but the helpful staff instructed me well ;)

waiting at reception took so long. we asked for early check but no availability. also time for check in was 2 but we didn’t get our room until almost 4 pm

Room was kind of dark. Only a small observation. Possibly due to room at back of hotel without a view.

Everything , the hotel decorations and art all around the property , huge room , comfortable bed, amazing food , the pool temperature was perfect , the staff were super friendly and professional ( the concierge , house keeping , spa and mostly the swimming pool staff were my favorite). It became my favorite hotel and resort and will definitely come back.

Nothing literally, we couldn't find anything to complain about.

it was not clean, also our room was changed because there was no cold water in the bathroom. If I travel to Doha again, I will not choose this hotel again.

I always stay at this hotel since it’s rooms are extraordinarily comfortable and spacious. It’s centrally located and has nearby acccess to the Mall of Qatar and DFC mall. Also the staff is very down to earthly and goes out of the way to provide you with anything required be it an upgrade or early check in free of charge.

The light panel in my room was very disturbing at night since the lights used to pop on every 15-20 min when I switched them off to sleep at night due to which I couldn’t sleep at all the first 3 nights.

i checked in at 2:00 am coming from the airport directly and have a problem with my card and i informed the check in desk that i cannot use my card now and that i contacted with my bank and bank informed me that tomorrow morning i can use my card but this guy was not helpful while he have my passport and he tells its not our problem and its hotel policy while i told him that Some times i have same situation in international hotels around the world and they were very helpful but he wasn’t able to hear me and forced me to pay for first night and didnt give me the room card and just sent the luggage guy to open the room for me but next day I contacted with another guy in reception regarding my situation and he was very helpful as i still have same problem at afternoon.

I appreciated the extra effort the staff provided upon my arrival and before my wife arrived, the complimentary sweets, flowers and balloons was amazingly nice. Thank you to all the staff there that made our stay extra special, the personal touches and interactions are beyond that of other hotels in Doha.

Issam at reception sent my wife to the wrong room, and didnt issue her with a key. There was no advance warning that outside beverages were not allowed inside, or that the hotel is smoke free - even though we are non-smokers these things should be informed in advance especially for international guests. I was injured by one of the rooms standard features, the first aid response could have been better, but I put it down to inexperience, and look forward to seeing the engineering change on my next visit.
