Hotel Villa del Sol

I didn't like was that they let a group of 6 people stay at the pool area till 3am talking loud & laughing waking people up,but beside that,It's a very good hotel,no other complaints

The hotel is very cute, it has an unique appearance compared with the other hotels near by. It was very close to the beach, and there are many restaurants in within walking distance. The pool was clean and refreshing of course. The staff was friendly and available 24 hrs a day. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the AC was cool, and also the fridge. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Even though there was a microwave in a common area that I could use, I would have prefered to have one in my own room.

This is a small, clean and convenient hotel nearby the airport and walking distance to the beach in Isla Verde. Staff was kind, rooms were clean, with AC and hot water. We needed. Hotel for an early morning (4am) flight, and this was a great value.

The noise, not only from the airport (planes) which is expected, but from other rooms (no sound isolation) and the car washing next to the hotel which operates 24 h due to a car rental business. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be for you.

I loved the island feel of the decor! The location is perfect especially if your staying in the area! A 2 min walk to beautiful beaches! We were in PR for a very short stay ; no need for car rental! Which the hotel provides if desired. Per our request, Lourdes pointed us in the direction of the bus transit which we used to go into old San Juan! We had a great stay! My grandchildren loved it! We will be back for a longer visit next time!

The pool should stay open till 9:00 pm

it’s a very pretty building, a short walk to the glorious big beaches . There was a restaurant a few doors down for breakfast as no restaurant in the hotel. Our room was large with two double bed with crispy sheets . The bathroom had a double sink and a walk in lovely shower with loads of fluffy white towels . It is a very short drive from the airport and was excellent place for us to relax after out long flights . The pool area is great , lovely pool chairs tables and umbrellas also a covered area with fans blowing

it is on the flight bath and you do feel the planes are in the garden but we got used to them. The car wash for the car hire company was on the other side of our bathroom so pretty noisy at all times

The staff was very nice, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. Everything was super clean. The pool is very pretty. They had a good range of snacks available that weren't overpriced! It was in a convenient location - near the airport and within walking distance to the beach. They rent cars right at the hotel, and that was a lifesaver for us. And they have a sweet cat that lives on-site! :)

Our room was right next to the front desk, so it wasn't as quiet as we would've liked (it wasn't bad though).

Room was functional, clean and convenient to dining options. Staff was fantastic. Location was super convenient for our purpose, which was one night near the airport before grabbing a rental car at the nearby Enterprise location, which saves $$ in airport fees.

The hotel itself was bright and clean but surroundings, while safe, were nothing noteworthy. We were there just one night after an incoming flight so cannot speak to beach access or other amenities.

The staff was wonderful. Loved the ambiance of the hotel. Not a big corporate chain hotel. Location was great.

It was noisy but that was expected based on the reviews. Overall it was not that bad. We stayed for 8 days & after the first day you got used to the noise from the airport. The flights started first thing in the morning but did not hear them in the middle of the night. The room we had was in the second floor street side so we did hear anything going on in the street.

The room with basic kitchenette (Room #210), the pool, the upstairs patio, and the location. The parking is convenient if you have a rental car (and the hotel also rents cars--we didn't use that service but should have). The hotel is near Isla Verde though not quite a part of that scene, which my family liked.

Loud and inconsiderate hotel neighbors. The closeness to the airport is convenient but also noisy during the day (not so many flights during the evening). The extra front room where we stayed, plus the AC unit buzz, helped drown out the noise.

The staff is great, the hotel is located close to everything you will want to do in San Juan and around North East PR. The value compared to other places is great and they even offer a discount on car rental if you are a guest.

There's a second floor balcony where you can sit and relax. There was several times that guest of the hotel stayed till early morning hours talking loudly and laughing. This becomes an issue because there are rooms around the balcony area. The hotel posted signs stating that the area closed at 10pm which worked most of the time. Besides this everything from the staff, to cleanliness, to value, the hotel is great.
