Hotel Club d'Azeitao

We liked the old world charm of the property and how quiet it was. Our window looked out on to the vineyards and there were sheep grazing on the lawn. Idyllic views.

The only thing we were not aware of, is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner on weekdays. We arrived Sunday and the restaurant was closed. The room service is also only available at dinnertime during the week. This was an issue because I was working online in the room and could not leave the hotel to get lunch. I think this should be mentioned in the listing.

We loved the Chicness of the hotel. Staff really helpful and kind. The gardens with the sheep & Goats is perfect, pool closed but looked amazing (we knew it would be closed before booking).

Bed too hard for me but everyone likes different. Carpets in corridors a little loose, but again the Chicness still lovely. Would have be nice to have a kettle to make own coffee.

After experiencing a let down with a hotel that we had already booked, we booked this hotel at the last minute and we are sooo glad we did. They staff was amazing, the food was excellent and we had a great time walking the grounds and enjoying the quiet. Highly recommend!!

The location and the building

The breakfast buffet could have more variety of foods. Also would be nice to read the history of the building. I can't find it anywhere on the internet. If its a old building they should embrace their heritage. I would like to read who build the Quinta and who lived there.

The location is great. It’s close to all nearby places and close enough to big roads. The beautiful Arrábida mountain park with its beautiful beaches is within close driving distance. The property is beautiful. Idyllic gardens, driveway, fruit trees, olive trees, and an absolutely perfect pool, with toilets and a tennis court. The decor inside is dated and a has a particular taste. The rooms could use an upgrade in the nearby future: new beds, heavier doors (noisy but no disturbance), some upgrades on the toilets/shower (plumbing wise), but all is CLEAN, and that’s the most important. The staff is really professional and service oriented. Their professionalism shows in the ambiance of the hotel, but also the restaurant. You can tell they take giving the customer an excellent and carefree experience very seriously.

Aside from taste, the decor and specifically the hardware needs renovation (toilet, shower, hair dryer, windows, doors).

Free sufficient car parking, check-in at reception was easy, I booked a single room, the room was clean and bed was good. the bathroom was clean but a bit small. The single room was located at the other end of building which was a bit far from reception.

Would have liked to have a stand to put the suitcase on. The room and bathroom needed some minor maintenance.

The room was spacious and it was very quiet. It was very clean. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. Staff on the front desk were very professional!

We had to drive to all of the restaurants except for one.

It’s part of vineyard so beautiful nature around. Good breakfast and must say excellent staff especially at front desk, both shifts. Has tennis and pickleball court which we used.

Pool was dirty, furniture a bit outdated, tennis equipment is very old.

The space is amazing with beautiful scenery. Room is confortable and big with a lot of light. A large enough gadem do do a walk and enjoy nature.

Breakfast was not included. The light blocker was not the best.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. During the summer for sure there is much better - swimming pool looks interesting, but had no chance to test it ;-)

Please consider to add fresh vegetables to the breakfast. One issue was water in the bathroom - it was cold early morning and in late afternoon. This issue was not only in my room.
