Breakfast was lovely. A great mix of hot and cold foods. Fresh fruit, yoghurts and pastries. The hot food was sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, and some pancakes. The room was well appointed with a lovely sea view, but the bed was uncomfortably hard for us. We requested a softer mattress if possible, but this wasn't provided. We did ask at reception, but nothing was done. The location is superb. Quarteira is a beautiful little town on the waterfront and the Dom Jose backs on to the beach. Lovely.

The beds. They're rock-hard and we both woke up with sore ribs most days and had broken sleeps. We then ended up napping at the pool or the beach in the day time. We did ask for softer mattresses prior to booking and again once we'd arrived, but they never managed to provide any, which is a huge shame.

The hotel is right next to the beach . Breakfast and dinner were amazing...fresh fish, salad, detox juices, freshly baked cookies and so much more. The staff were equally as great super friendly

Nothing to do with the hotel..but the bars surrounding the hotel were pretty lame...head to the marina for more choice and fun!

Breakfast was excellent food selection great spacious dining area very very happy. The city view rooms have no balcony but the sea view room was good with stunning views. The location was perfect and plenty of places to eat and drink all within walking distance

We struggled to find anything we didn’t like. The only thing we would say is that the lifts are quite slow to reach the floor you have called from but other than that everything perfect

Area is nice, and the location of hotel is great! Swimming pool facing the beach and beach club on the other side of the sidewalk. We were lucky enough to get a spot on the terrace for breakfast 🤩

The shower was a big dirty when we first used it…

Location is excellent for this hotel , lots of restaurants and little bars within very easy walking distance ,plus the bonus of it being on the beach , pretty much nothing to like . Hotel is lovely and bright and spotlessly clean

Breakfast can be a bit chaotic not hotels fault everyone goes down same time ,, we have been before and found the tables are to close together there is a small gap between them maybe because it’s so busy. The sun beds were hit and miss around the pool people not supposed to reserve them but they did plus they are going to have them on the beach and charge for them there was about 40; of them chained up And free bottle of water in your room isn’t replenished by the cleaner nor is the tea or coffee.

Location was excellent, beautiful views of the beach. Hotel was very clean, mini fridge and espresso machine in the room along with a safe. Good space for wardrobe/storage. Staff friendly. Brilliant air conditioning in the room which was needed! Modern furnishings. Breakfast was nice, both hot food and continental. Lovely food served in the bar: toasted sandwiches, salads, pizza, burger etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Dinner in the restaurant was very limited in terms of choice, I wouldn't go half board here again. Had to pay for sun lounger on the beach due to poor availability by the pool. Rooms are beautiful but just a little bit small.

The view from our room wasn’t ideal but that didn’t bother us, as we found the view from the restaurant/bar was lovely and easy access to the beach made up for it

The breakfast was very good. All you can eat, and lots of everything. From fresh fruits , eggs, bacon, good coffee. Top notch. 7am to 930am. Location, we had a sea view, sound of the sea 🙂. Staff were very nice. Food was good. Not many tourists in mid November. Good if you like walking along beach. More pubs, restaurants 30 minutes walk away, along with tours.

The pool is Is very public area right beside the street, not a big issue, it's also right beside the breakfast area. Some tiny ants in room didn't bother us.

Breakfast was excellent a great choice of food and was served until 10.30 without running out of anything. Rooms and all areas of the Hotel were kept clean. Reception Staff were very helpful and good communication before arrival excellent. Taxi collecyion from airport to Hotel arranged by Hotel. Location was excellent close to Bars and restaurants

Bar service was slow at times waiting nearly 30 minutes for service . There was only one person pouring drinks but several taking orders which meant inevitably the barmaid could not keep up with the orders. The Bar closed at midnight but lights in the bar area were being turned off at 11.30pm leaving us sat in the dark drinking. I had to complain before getting some light turned back on. Tea and coffee facilites in bedroom were only provided free on first day, chargable after that. a bit unusual

Great location, nice bar and pool. AC works good, gives fresh air. TV actually has programs for everyone. Neat bathroom.

Some rooms have awful backyard view, gives not secure feeling. Even when hotel is half empty, they still give you these rooms. Maybe worth of asking for something else. Cleaning comes often in wrong moment, just when you arrive back to the room, thou they started cleaning the floor before you left. Once somebody knocked, thou there was "don't disturb" sign. Breakfast is boring and faceless, but it's okay if you stay only few nights.
