The Hotel is nicely situated near the beach and the beautiful pedestrian area of Povoa. You'll notice the age of the building, especially in the bathrooms, but there has been work put into the rooms. It's not particularly modern nor dated, everything is in good, working condition and very clean. I found the bed and pillows comfy. The aircon is working well and quiet. Reception staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good enough considering the price of the room. Which not only had a bathtub (I was given the option of a room with shower) but also a nice balcony.

Some might miss tea/coffee in the room and the fridge is rather noisy, which is probably why it wasn't plugged in on arrival. I turned it on for a few hours to have a cold drink in the evening, turning it off before going to bed and that worked for me.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location - close to the metro station, bus stops and the beach. Very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless, and cleaned daily. We were able to leave our luggage at reception as we arrived early and left late. Plentiful breakfast. We would definitely stay again!

Breakfast was from 8.00. We might have preferred 7.30. The WiFi was patchy.

We have stayed before. We like it because it's a proper hotel with a 24 hour front desk and a lift. We had a decent sized room with a fridge and a good, functional bathroom. Reception staff were always polite and friendly. Location is ideal. Plenty of restaurants reasonably nearby. A nice breakfast is served on the 6th floor.

We didn't really dislike anything. It's a nice place.

The staff were all friendly, helpful and polite. Our room was big enough and simply, though adequately furnished. Beds were comfortable. All was very clean. Breakfast was Continental style and very good, with a nice choice of food. We'll probably stay here again.

There was only one chair on the balcony. Two chairs and a little table would have been perfect.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed and very clean. The ladies in the breakfast area were really nice and hardworking and the reception staff were also very friendly.

It was very clean and I felt safe. It was also in a great location and made it easy to stop and start again the next morning on my Camino.

I thought the place was very nice. The only thing I would’ve wished for were softer towels. Those are probably the roughest towels I’ve ever used.

A big thank you to all the staff who were so warm, friendly and caring. I got a lot of help from them. The hotel is very clean and hygienic, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping streets, very convenient

Good location when walking the Camino Breakfast had some cereal options coffee and little pastries aswell as yoghurts and fruit. Not much variety but plenty to start up for a day

The staff is pure gold. Very gentle and efficient. I had to have breakfast earlier than the time they usually serve, and they prepared everything. The rooms are quite and the mattress is super comfortable!

The pillows are not good for me.

We loved that is was fresh looking, lots of light, very clean and excellent position. We enjoyed the breakfasts. The shower was great too.

We would have liked more than one pillow each, and an iron/ ironing board to iron our clothes
