Hotel S. Gabriel

Breakfast was great, buns, pastries, coffe, milk, cereal and fruits - much more than what you'd find for such a price. Loved the room. Clean, smiley personnel, helpful with all our inquiries, and they even prepped a tiny bag of yogurt, fruits and cakes from the day before for me because I had a 6 a.m. flight out. Location is 2 minutes walk to Santa Catarina, so it's pretty easy to find. I'd definitely stay there again!

Toiletries - shampoo and bath gel are together so it's like 3 in 1. Not a big deal thought, unless you are traveling super light without them like I am.

The location and breakfast were very good, and the staff was excellent. The beds were very firm, and our room really needed to be updated. We were told that the hotel is in the process of upgrading their rooms, and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially after that process is complete.

We didn't care for the very firm bed, outdated furnishings, and room layout.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Free parking free breakfast and free wifi. We couldn't believe the price we paid for all this. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety with indoor or outdoor seating in a pleasant patio area. The hotel was pretty central for all sightseeing. We used the yellow hop on hop off bus which was just around the corner. We loved "Mike Davis"....he was so informative about everything on check in. All in all a great stay.

Once updates are done I think it'll be a great hotel Best part of this hotel is the free parking right in the center of Porto where you will pay 20 euros a day just for parkings in city center Breakfast was great Paulo was amazing at the front desk will answer all your questions..

Hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to many tourist attractions, the breakfast is good, but best of all were all the Staff that works there, I have no words to express how grateful I was for their kindness and helpfulness, nothing you asked for, m was ever a problem or trouble for them, always with a smile on their face and helpful attitude. Best hotel customer service I’ve seen in a while and I travel a lot. So thank you S. Gabriel hotel staff. we will be back. Laila Campos

The location, breakfast, and room are very good. Staff friendly. Sleeping bed, shower, toilet, soap, shampoo, towels, TV, internet, furniture - excellent! In general, I can evaluating the hotel as "Very good"!

But when I felt like drinking some water, I asked for a glass to my room at the reception, and they kindly provided. It is advisable for every room to put glasses by default without asking. It was also difficult to open the horizontal curtains by the window when I wanted to look outside. In general, these desires do not interfere with evaluating the hotel as "Very good"!

Its great that the hotel has breakfast from 8 - 10 A.M n offers free parking lots, it locates very close to the central just couple minutes of walk and the room is great for its price and location. The 2 lady who work at the kitchen is very nice.

The location was great! You are really close by to everything. There is a garrage included in the stay. That was really convinient, becasue there is no parking in the street or is always full.

Rooms need to be renovated, there is plaster falling from the walls.

Location near main shopping street and also Bolhao metro. Great breakfast with a lot of variety included in price of room. Nice courtyard to eat in. Staff were super helpful.

Hotel directly in center, walking distance everywhere. Free parking in spacious underground garage. Rooms facing street have new 2nd level of window beside the old ones, means room is quiet enough. We got room with new bathroom and with windows facing backyard. It was quiet and nice. Wifi was ok, A/C as well. Breakfast was very tasty (cakes, yogurth, ham, cheese, juice, cofee). For price we paid it is 9 point, if price is above 55Eur I would rate it 8.

Here is not much to complain. Hotel S. Gabriel is very good 2* hotel, yes walls are thin and sometimes you can hear your neighbours or water in next door bathroom, but we had good and quiet neighbours.
