ABC Hotel Porto - Boavista

Very convenient for using local buses and metro. Exceptionally comfortable beds. Everything provided worked well- shower/instant hot water/air conditioning/ provision of a kettle on request. Good breakfast choices.Sparkling clean. Above all exceptionally helpful staff- Lilliana was delightful.

Would be nice to have the option of eating in the garden area adjoining the breakfast room. Not in the more picturesque areas of Porto

The overall experience for us is good: easily reachable location (even by foot) and breakfast early in the morning was available. As we weren't staying in the room too much time, it served our purpose (to take a shower and have a sleep), just fine. The staff was kind and no matter what we asked (ask to order a taxi and pack some breakfast), they delivered (above our expectations, which wasn't much), there was only one occassion where we didn't quite catch, what the receptionist meant by what she said.

Unfortunately, sometimes the dishes (used by breakfast) and the counter in our bathroom, were not clean and there was no closet, where we could put our clothes (there was a closet to be with hangers, but we needed more of shelves).

Probably the best hotel we've ever been to. Very well located in Porto (right in front of the Casa da Musica metro stop) it has all comforts in a very modern structure with luxurious yet simple design. The staff was very, very nice on several occasions, as we kept our baggage at the reception will touring the city both upon arrival and upon departure; additionally they took care of an Amazon package I delivered at the hotel for my partner's birthday. They were very quick in communicating with me via email for the surprise! Also, my card didn't work for the pre-payment and they were very flexible with the payment options (I eventually payed once there). Rooms are amazing. Extremely recommended!

Breakfast wasn't included and costed 12€ per day. We decided not to opt for it as it was way too expensive!

The room was spotlessly clean, and very modern. The aircon was very good and could cool the room in no time. The bed was huge! We were very happy with the bed, it was very comfortable, and gave us a good night's sleep for our entire stay! The shower was clean and spacious, with constant hot water. Our room was on the third floor, and there was no sound problems with the train line beneath the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and helped us with any queries during our stay. The reception area is clean and modern, and the bar at reception was also handy for a drink. The Casa de Musica metro station is literaaly outside, so from there you can get anywhere in Porto. We will definitely stay again!

We loved our stay! The one thing is that there is very little storage space for hangers ect. so bear that in mind when packing! Apart from that our stay was perfect!

Every thing well maintained , great stafd

The beds were exceptional. Our other hotels on the trip had comfortable beds, but with myself and husband being taller, we really liked the King sized beds they offered. The breakfast was great and well stocked, the staff was very accommodating and helpful with directions. We were right across the street from the Metro Station, so convenient.

Everything was really good until the breakfast time. We checked in at night time the guy at recption was very welcome. He gave us the price included breakfast and I was happy to pay the amount including breakfast. He gave us all information about breakfast. The following day the new member of staff at reception told us the breakfast wasn't included so we had to pay a fee of 12€ per person, I've explaind her everything happened the night before she didn't care about it, didn't apologise for the colleague mistake ( if it really was a mistake) only charge us the 12€. For sure It was an awful experience for us.

Poor problem solving knowledge

The hotel is clean and cozy, situated by the subway station which is very convenient (2-3 stops from the old city center), breakfast was good - you can't be hungry. We got take away early breakfast on the day when we leave, which we really appreciated.

The only thing I didn't like was coffee, could be better.

Location, environment, quietness, daily buffet, close to Metro, easy walking to grocery, laundry, Metro. Staff very helpful. Staff Could speak some English.

The hotel is very nice, we loved the room! The shower is very nice and large size, and the bed is huge and comfortable. WE had the breakfast, it was a great selection and worth the cost. Overall, we're very happy and will definitely stay again
