Antillia Hotel

I was supervised with the cleanness of the facilities. The hotel has age and you can see it in the style but everything was clean, in bathroom there were not a single spot. Thus who have nostalgia on style of 90-00 would like the style of hotel. The location is perfect, very close to everything, walking distance to the pineapple plant (10-15 min), the harbor (5-10 min) and the main shopping (5-10 min) The services is also very nice, kids were super happy with inside swimming pool, sauna and play corner. The last helped us to have at least 15 min of our time :)

I am more modern person, so I would prefer another style of hotel. But to have such combination of services and location was a savvier with small kids.

Well sized rooms (1 bed apartment);nice outdoor swimming pool with a separate area for babies, a lot of sun beds and a bar; kind reception staff; free parking; decent speed Wi-Fi; good location - 5 mins walk from the very centre of Ponta Delgada.

The fitness room is lacking in equipment and in hygiene/cleaning. Some parts of the hotel (e.g. a lot of windows in the common areas / entrance need some love = cleaning, a little thing that would go a long way in improving the first impression of the hotel.

Antillia is a clean, modern hotel with lots of nice amenities, such as an indoor and outdoor pool, a steam bath and a sauna. The front desk staff were lovely, always smiling and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great for walking around the centre and easily accessible to many restaurants.

The layout of the hotel was odd, I had to use two elevators to get to my room and it took several minutes to get from the lobby to the seventh floor. They served a breakfast for ten euros, but there was no option to get just a coffee in the morning.

Pool area was a little small so not enough sun beds also the usual types left towels on sun beds and disappeared for ages staff really need to remove these Trivial I know but the gardener cut the grass outside the rooms late afternoon when we were trying to relax it would have been better if this was done in the mid morning when most people are out

- Centrally located 5-10 mins walk to the harbour - Staff were friendly and helpful - Room was clean, tidy and comfortable - Large spacious balcony overlooking the harbour

- Wifi was a bit unreliable as we were in the room farthest away from reception and top floor - No Kettle or cups in the room - Nothing in mini-bar - Narrow roads into the entrance and exit of the parking - Some parts of the room was poorly lit

Great breakfasts, lots of choices, fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, and bread. There was something for everyone. The pools and bar were a great meeting spot for after busy days of hikes, activities and touring the island, etc. The staff was excellent. always friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view from our room.

I would success to have a boiler with some tea bags for a tea at nights. They also didn’t offer a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrive. I arrived very late at night and they told me to drink from the tap water

Room was clean, breakfast was good with many things to choose, great fruits. Parking so close to hotel was very helpful.

If you stay lomger then week breafast might become boring as there are many things but mostly the same every day. One day there was too much chlorine in jacuzzi. Apart from that, everything was great.

It was big room & living room with small kitchen,, Very nice, the kitchen was well prepared

The safety box was not working The building from inside need to be renovated

Good location, about 10 minutes on foot to the center with restaurants, shops, etc. The room was clean and most nights very quiet. It was nice that our room had a balcony also.

The beds could be more comfortable. Also, the hotel has private parking but for a huge hotel there were maybe 20 spots total and some days we had to park on the street. It seems deceiving to me to advertise private parking when only a small fraction of guests can actually use it.
