Hotel Pinhalmar

Quite a isolated hotel on the point by the light house. A car is a must to go eat! I must say the hotel was very clean and Fresh good 3* standard, despite the going back in time with the 60/70 s furniture😂 The bed was very comfortable, even if it looked like my granny’s has did the room! Breakfast was ok but nothing special . Staff were ok but didn’t talk much! Overall worth a overnight stop in Peniche we’re other hotels are expensive. Recommend the PIZZA restaurant on the roundabout just after you cross the river!!

The distance from the town, no restaurant for a isolated hotel. But loved the. SUN SET

Lovely location our room was very comfortable lovely terrace with sea views. Free fresh drinking water every day was put in our room. Nice small fridge in room too. A little out the way but we used an Uber to the marina every night so we could have a meal. Which only cost 4 euros each way. The guy at the hotel reception also let us borrow a bottle opener. Very nice hotel .

No restaurant at hotel or snack bar fir food which was advertised on booking.com and on the hotel board.

This is a hotel with a long history. We chose a room with a view of the sea and didn’t regret that decision. We made good use of the little terrace facing the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and very clean. We found the choices at breakfast to be excellent! The reception is always open, so any questions or needs can be dealt with immediately. We stayed there in April, so the pool was not open, so can’t comment on that. Enjoyed being able to park on site. You could walk to town, but easier with a car, though there are trails nearby.

We booked this property in a hope to meet the ocean sunset sitting in the balcony, but arrived 40 min too late. The host was friendly, spoke English, and has made a lot of paperwork to register us for the stay and for the breakfast next morning, which was 100% served and of very good quality. The hotel is a solid, well equipped facility located near Cape Carvoeiro lighthouse, with own restaurant (closed), spacious rooms, good bathrooms etc., but otherwise remote (2 km from the centre of Peniche, 2.5 km to the beach). We had a room with ocean view and another with forest view, also nice.

We found the system of pre-ordering in the evening of what you would like to have for breakfast in the morning a bit too complicated.

Everything was great. There is plenty of parking for cars, the facilities and rooms are modern and the included breakfast was awesome. I also loved the quietness.

The only thing I found a bit odd was that the toilet is on a position a little to high, which makes it a little uncomfortable.

Very nice experience, the hotel was very near the university, Polytechnic, I was working there so it was only 10-minute walk outside to the university. Very nice quiet neighborhood, a good hotel, and breakfast had a good buffet. Nice sea view from the room. Good sleep, quiet night.

A little far by walking from the big supermarket or the city center, a car makes things easy.

The Location was very convenient for us, the BKF was delicious, the staff very friendly, helpful and kind. Definitely highly recommended this location to anyone.

Only one thing the shower had some mold spots at the bottom.

All it was very nice. When we arrived, the recepcionist gave us a room with views on the sea because of there was one available(we booked with interior views, so thanks for this change!)

Maybe, if I have to say something is the breakfast. It was good, especially for us, the mini croissants. But there were some little things that it could be better, but it was okey for the price we paid.

the property was very clean and quiet.

It is directly in front of a sewage treatment facility which blocks ocean view as well as being super stinky. Staff recommended to eat at ‘O Pedro Restaurant’ in town. Avoid this place, it’s awful.

Staff is amazing. Hyper kind and courteous !!! Phenomenal place to stay. Don't look anywhere else in Peniche. Hotel PINHalmar is the place !!!
