Hotel Praia

The hotel is in the centre of Nazaré but still quiet. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. We had a slight problem with a tap which was fixed immediately by maintenance. The bed was comfy. We slept well. We had a balcony too. Room had coffee facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. Hotel has a small bar open til midnight .There is a rooftop pool, sun loungers and a view of the sea, the beach and the cliff top. There is underground parking for 5€. We stayed one night and would have been happy to stay longer. The beach and good restaurants are a stone’s throw. There is a spar supermarket on your doorstep too.

Nothing really. Car parking is tight to manoeuvre. Parking was an extra small charge.

Great location and friendly staff. The hotel room was attractive, comfortable, and clean with a big bathroom and shower. There were 3 comfortable real twin beds as advertised (unlike some hotels in other locations in Portugal which gave a cot for one of the "twin beds"). I was traveling with my mother and adult sister so this was really important to us. The breakfast was delicious with many choices and good coffee. The roof deck was lovely with a beautiful view. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The parking garage was stressful (very small spaces with tight turns). It was only 5 euros but we wasted a lot of time parking and entering/leaving the garage. Our car rental ended up being a Toyota Corolla so this may be less of a problem for a more compact car.

Big, modern hotel with large spacious rooms, small balcony with sea view. Perfect location less than 5 minutes to the beach but quieter than hotels on the front. Great swimming pool on top Flor with rooftop terrace and bar. The breakfast was excellent: wide range of fresh fruit, scrambled egg and bacon,cheeses/hams and local pastries including natas! And you could eat outside in internal patio. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and professional and let us keep the car in the parking the day we checked out until 4 which is a huge benefit!

Nothing really, just a couple of little gripes. The bathroom needed more hooks for small towels etc. Also although our bed was made, the bathroom didn’t seemed to have been cleaned very throughly nor the towel changed which we left on the bath. Maybe we misunderstood the system.,

Location, hotel design and layout, the tiny rooftop pool, the views. The hotel in generel and room were very clean, that was super nice. Easy check in and out procedures. Mostly nice and welcoming personelle.

The breakfast food is not worth a 4 star hotel, very disappointing. Lacked diversity in bread, spreads, add ons, hot dishes, vegetarian/vegan options. The coffee machines and fruit selection were nice though. The hotel breakfast staff felt pushy, I know they want to clean after people have had there breakfast, but the staff needs more etiquette, be less noisy and be aware that people needs there space.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and diverse. The pool was nice; there was nobody else there, so we had it just for us 😊 Very convenient location: - There is a Spar supermarket nearby - The beach is very close - the Elevador da Nazaré is a few minutes away - bus station is 7 minutes away - lot of restaurants nearby November was a great time to see the waves 🌊

The Wi-Fi connection was poor The room was a little noisy. We could hear people from the other rooms and as we were close to the elevator we could hear all the people going there. Lucky us, people were silent during the night.

Convenient parking at the hotel (€5 per day); our suite was very spacious and clean; breakfast was good; roof terrace is nice for sunbathing and sunset watching (we didn't try the pool). Hotel location is good, short walk to the beach, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Wifi was not great as it kept dropping the connection. It's worth noting that rooms on the south side of the hotel have the sun on them the Whole Day. We were there in sunny weather in November and we kept the blackout curtains closed most of the time, to help keep the room cool (there was a/c which the hotel turned on when we requested it), which was a shame. In full summer those rooms must be ovens.

We loved everything, the breakfast was amazing, our room was beautiful and the location ideal. Fantastic Customer Service especially from Sophia at the Front Desk who was amazing, always there to help out in any way she could. Also the staff at the bar especially Ignacio (I think that was his name), He worked Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during our stay, he couldn't have been friendlier, and was so helpful and informative about Nazare, and the surfers etc... We enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked a return visit for May of this year.

They don’t have a restaurant on site you can go right by the corner to their partner restaurant and also have a 10% discount. It’s the only thing I wish I could change by that I mean having restaurant directly on site.

room was spacious. Great king size beds with good mattresses. Nice patio. Good size bathroom. Good breakfast with lots of options; sweet and savory. I liked the pool, though a bit too short to do laps. Good water temperature! Garage for Euro 5 a day and recharging capability free of charge for electric car if you bring your own cable. Great hotel!

No hot shower in the morning. Answer from concierge: you’re the only one complaining! After a while it turned out that there were numerous complaints and both big boilers were down. No hot showers before check out, but no charge for garage as compensation

Good location just back from the front line. Good check in and nice warm room with clean bathroom and nice safe balcony. Breakfast was an ordeal with dirty guests coughing and sneezing.

The parking was VERY tight with cars parked far too close to each other. The lines need repainting to acknowledge that modern day vehicles are somewhat larger than when the lines were originally painted. The hotel may be cheap enough but it can cost upwards of 500€ to have a car door filled and resprayed. Nazare haș a feel of Blackpool about it.
