Hotel Travel Park Lisboa

I liked the location. Very close to metro with a supermarket right next door for all essentials. There are green grocers just north and south on the same street too, for better choice of fruits and veggies. Also, some very cute cafes, a vintage store, a portuguese yarn store, and delicious nepalese momo restaurant all very close by! It was a nice treat to have breakfast included. Didn't have to go out looking for coffee.

Nothing really. The light/power took a little getting used to (my phone didn't charge because i turned off ask the power by the bed), but then i knew and it's no problem!

The hotel was very comfortable. We paid for breakfast for the four nights we stayed, and for parking. We chose the hotel because it was reasonably close to the airport. Breakfast was good, and there are multiple restaurants within walking distance.

In our room, the TV was off to one side of the bed making it a bit uncomfortable to watch laying in bed. Also, there were homeless people camped along the sidewalk on the street outside the hotel. They weren't outright hostile, but they did accost us one occasion.

A freshly squeezed orange juice costs an additional €3. At the supermarket next door 500ml freshly squeezed OJ is €2.50. If I'd stay there again I'd book without breakfast

One more mature lady receptionist actually had the intelligence to realise I preferred to speak Portuguese. She said my Portuguese was good. I realise that most tourists don't speak Portuguese. I have been learning it for three years, including with a native speaker on Skype and on this occasion made a round trip of 34,000 km from Australia to practise it. I Iove languages and speak fluent French and German (university degree plus 23 years teaching experience) and reasonable Portuguese and Hungarian (one month intensive course in Debrecen).

The hotel was in a good location, clean, quiet, and the staff was really nice. There are shops and restaurants located really close by. Anjos metro station is just right outside for a quick trip to the main touristy spots. Taxi to the airport is just 15min and will cost you around €15-€20. Staff was really nice - we arrived really early but the room was ready and we got some breakfast. The area looks rough, but you quickly realise it isn't, so don't be concerned. The hotel restaurant was decent with all you really need to get you going for the day and has an area outside which is great for a morning coffee and first sun rays.

We didn't mind, but because the hotel is located directly above the metro line, you get faint sounds of the metro trains passing by.

An extremely positive experience. A spacious and very tidy room, with very clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Large windows with an ample view of the street far below. 100% functional blackout curtains that allow virtually zero sunlight in. An excellent, comfortable chair with a long, spacious and high quality table to set your laptop on with loads of electric sockets available everywhere. Extremely solid and well soundproofed with a firm and sturdy laminated wooden floor and no carpet. A washroom with a large cover where everything fits, a huge mirror and besides a toilet, also a cleaning toilet next to it. Soap and shampoo provided. Great air conditioning. A fast , reliable and readily available elevator. An amazing breakfast in a spacious and comfortable environment, with fruit and where eve my beloved kiwis were available. Breakfast hours from 7 to 10:30 am are generous. 100 meters, at most from Metro, and very well located near the city center. 60€ per night with breakfast included (of course, only possible during low season) - unbeatable price/quality ration. I very highly recommend and hope to return.

Although the bathtub is not too high and has great support handles, making it particularly user friendly, older people or those with mobility issues may find this to be a serious disadvantage.

The breakfast room and buffet were wonderful! The bar area was great we used it to have a beverage and play some cards. Beautiful hotel. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Loved that the grocery store was very close.

The location from a subway point of view was great. We enjoyed a few restaurants in the area, suggested by the hotel staff. Rated 9/10. We went to the Pizza/pasta restaurant twice, loved the waiter, great service. The authentic Portuguese restaurant was a blast and food was great!

Great hotel. Exceeded expectations! Ideal location - metro station a minute away. We discovered that we can also get to the hotel with the famous tram No. 28E. It was a nice adventure! The hotel is close to viewpoints such as Monte Agudo, Senhora do Monte, Barros and Graça. Our room was really nice, spacious and very clean, good shower, comfortable beds. There was even a laptop sized safe in the room. Never had to wait long for the elevator. The breakfast was simply great - for all tastes. Employees are professional and kind. It's a shame that our first visit to Portugal ended so quickly. Definitely recommend to others!

The hotel was perfect! Although we have booked a standard double room they upgraded it to a much bigger room for free in the 8th floor which was like a suite, extremely spacious, large bathroom etc. Breakfast was really nice and with variety, room was 100% clean and location is absolutely convenient, 2'min walk to red line of the metro (which is the most convenient and central line for the city). Staff was very helpful with questions, when we lost our room card etc. It is the classic hotel that you expect to a visit abroad.

The only negative part is that hotel is next to hospital so all the time you can hear ambulances' sirens etc but after a point you get used to it. The area near the hotel is a bit degraded let's say, but we did not face any security issue.

The only weak point was the terrible - non-existing - soundproofing of the windows. Despite the fact that our room was situated on the 5th floor and the street outside is not extremely busy it was impossible to sleep during the night (of course with closed window) without decent earplugs to avoid the noise from outside. It made almost no difference whether the window(s) were opened or not. Stiil you could unfortunately hear almost every single voice from the street.
