The hotel is located in a great location near shops, restaurants, grocery, and the historical center. It's a large old Caldas home renovated into a beautiful modern boutique hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms are beautifully done and comfortable. The courtyard is dreamy and is visited daily by peacocks.

There isn't anything I didn't like, but I would caution that if you are street facing, there will be more noise. I would choose a courtyard view of you are sensitive to noise.

The feeling of a hotel, from the moment we walked in the door, was warm, artistic and unique! The renovated traditional Portuguese building was gorgeous! They did an amazing job with the space! I can’t say enough about the honors and stuff! They were the friendliest and most helpful people ever! Honestly, I felt like I was visiting dear friends. They are warm and helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our daily breakfast in the restaurant and felt like it was a big family! The morning breakfast was abundant and of high quality. the staff wanted to accommodate us whenever we needed help with anything. Truly, a fantastic place!

we liked everything about the property. The only downside is that rooms on the street side, which happened to be ours, was noisy from outside traffic. As a small one-way street, at the sound of cars could be heard in our room.

Great location in the centre of town, close to shops and cafes. Also very near to the square where the daily fruit and vegetable stalls are, also well worth a look. Very close to Parque Dom Carlos I which is also worth a visit. The hotel was very clean, very comfortable bed, the breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and if what you wanted was not available, the staff were only too happy to provide. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Would gladly stay again and would also recommend to others.

No storage space for clothes.

The breakfast was beyond incredible. Lots of variety. Everything was super tasty and the hotel/room is perfect and well-located. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the hotel has a certain charm with a wee touch of class. Worth the reasonable price. Recommend 100%.

I don't have a thing to say here. Everything was indeed perfect. I wish I could have tried my hot tub, but I couldn't turn it on. If I have to point out something less incredible that would be it. It wasn't because of anything or anyone's fault besides my lack of skill to make it work. They do have rules there to help ye out.

It’s very central, and everything was delightful, including the staff and the breakfast. We loved the design concept featuring different ceramics artists. We stayed in one of the apartments at the back which was quieter and had access to both a garden and another exit to a pedestrian path. It was near a town park where our dog could go for a walk. The Wifi was strong for our online work. We would definitely return.

Highly recommend. Stay in this place was 10/10. Starting with very friendly staff. Beautiful room each with unique design decorated with the ceramic art work and named after the artist who’s work is displayed in the room. For someone who likes art and beautiful interior design it’s a must stay! On top of that, bed was comfortable, great shower and tasty and plentiful breakfast. Every morning there is farmers market in a town square just around the corner from the hotel. It was lovely experience. I hope to be back!

A bit tricky with the parking as there is no parking beside the hotel you have to park in free public parking up the street or in an underground paid public parking. Either way it’s few minutes walk.

Breakfast was amazing, the best I have had so far in Portugal. Great location with short walk to the market, shops, park and so on. The adjoining restaurant had great food and a lovely vibe to it. They managed to fit me in on short notice even though they were fully booked. All the staff were very friendly. Oh, and there was a peacock in the garden!

The hotel is located in an old lovely building so naturally there is some noice through the walls/doors, but I did not find it disturbing.

Charming building on a narrow street. Spacious, beautifully decorated 2nd-floor room, view of peacocks on a roof. Warm reception and service, a welcoming little garaff of port wine and such nice details. Good tasty breakfast, restaurant very conveniently located in the same or attached building. Parking garage nearby, always a big plus. We had never before heard of Caldas da Rainha, but it turned out to be an attractive little town.

The attic apartment, Filipe Faleiro, had a small doorway to the lounge that meant remembering to duck down when passing through, a lesson learnt after banging your head! Low beams over the bed in one of the rooms required the same care when sitting up in bed. Very hard mattresses on the beds. No parking anywhere near the property; difficult to stop to unload baggage as it’s a one way street with bollards all along the pavement to prevent parking.

Wonderful find in the middle of a very small town. Our family was traveling to Obidos and found this hotel at a reasonable price in the town next to it. We did not expect the quality and the art and design that came with it. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it!
