Mamaison Le Regina Boutique Hotel

The room was large, quiet and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and light. The reception staff were very courteous. We did not eat there so can't comment on food. The spa area was nice with loungers, sauna and a small pool. Towels were available and on one day, bottles of water were also available.

Overall, this hotel is lovely, but there is a lack of attention to detail, e.g. staff not always present to keep the spa area tidy, one day we went down an hour after it opened in the morning and there was no paper in the toilet and no water to drink. Also, the first evening there were no clean glasses available in the lounge area for the homemade lemonade available. There is only one mixed changing room for men and women with no lock in the pool area. Also, there is no clouded glass in the bathroom, although the windows have blinds. Hotel located on the outer edge of the old town: if you want to stay in this area, it's a perfect and quiet location, if you want to spend more time in the centre of the city, you may find it a bit far out.

Excellent staff at reception. Spa area was very pleasant and massage was top notch. Perfect location for exploring the old town and surrounding areas.

Bed - We booked a double bed but in reality it was two single beds pushed together. Not comfortable at all since beds shifted and when moving around during my sleep I wound up in the hole/crack between the two beds.

We stayed in a nice cozy room on the ground floor with the access to the little garden. The staff was friendly and nice, especially in the restaurant. We liked the breakfast; buffet style; with a wide variety of fresh tasty food. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and served timely. The hotel has a charming atmosphere and is located in the the middle of old and new town. The swimming pool is gorgeous. I never take a swim in the hotels because the swimming pools are usually too overcrowded but the Mamaison swimming pool was empty, clean and relaxing. If you travel by car there is a safe parking lot on the Bolesc Street, around 500 meters from the hotel.

The room on the top floor with balcony is too hot to stay in and there is no elevator going up to the top floor. You must climb the stairs. I would not recommend it to guests with limited mobility and to anyone staying in summer. It is suffocating and the air conditioning is not working properly. Besides, the ceilings are too sloped. Not recommended for tall people or people with claustrophobia. We got relocated to a room on the ground floor of the same standard which was very nice and comfortable. The beds are too soft.

This is a first-rate hotel on the edge of historical old town - close to “Rynek Nowego Miasta” square which is where you want to be for some pleasant, not over-priced dining. Other Old Town sights such as the Royal Castle, are a short walk away. The hotel is a converted baroque townhouse of the Polish nobility. Its understated, stone-and-wood ambience is stylish and relaxing. It could compete with top-rate historical establishments in Western cities, while this being Warsaw the prices are 2-3 times lower than comparable stays in say London. The underground pool-sauna-wellness complex is just perfect. Given the small size of the hotel, the pool is never too busy, a crucial difference from similarly priced large network hotels downtown. Staff is as professional and helpful as you would expect in this type of place. They were particularly attentive to my child. Breakfast offer is wide and nutritious. Nothing left to be desired in terms of cleanness or room equipment. I would recommend this place to any visitor, particularly anyone on family tourist trips.

The location is perfect; convenient for Warsaw centre but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel has a friendly, comfortable feel about it without compromising the stylish decor. The outside terrace is a delight and the perfect place to sit for a drink or a meal when the weather is good. Friendly, efficient staff complete the picture. We plan a return visit!

We had a room on the second floor that had a terrace. The blind on the door needed replacing and the outside area was not cleaned during our stay. We stayed a total of 4 nights with a break of 1 day at the end of our visit. A small criticism and one that was not an issue for us.

it had a modern but medieval feel to the property the room was fabulous and very comfortable my wife and i travel regularly and at some very high profile establishments this hotel and all its staff are a credit to the hotel but also there Country All staff have so much passion and respect in the way they do there jobs it is a pleasure to feel so welcome

Hot water runs from the cold taps until they are run for around 3-4 minutes(needs sorting) also this effects the shower temperature which is always to hot even on the coldest setting until it’s ran for over 5 minutes

Great hotel and location. Was given a free upgrade and booked in early.

Everything could have been perfect. The only thing that bugged me was during breakfast. The buffet was a great selection, but no direction was given at all. I asked if there was a hot breakfast and was told there is a daily specials menu. I ordered something from that, only to find out later there was a full selection of hot breakfast items in buffet. No big deal, but although staff were very polite and accommodating, I still felt as if I was being difficult. If it was explained on entry there is a hot and cold buffet, there would have been no confusion. I also sat down, went to get a drink and came back to find someone else sitting in my seat with a coffee!

The rooms were very spacious, even the classic room. The swimming pool was great and the internal courtyard was a lovely place to sit and unwind. The hotel was in an excellent location near to the new town and not far from the old town with lots of restaurants nearby.

The breakfast didn't look to be good value for money but there were nearby restaurants that serve breakfast so not really an issue.

Our experience at this hotel was 10+. Everything was perfect! The staff was very kind and courteous, the breakfast was tasty, (although a bit pricey for the buffet), the decor of the hotel was peaceful and beautiful. Don't hesitate to book this one, and when you do, ask the staff to give you the history of the building. You are staying in a castle! Wonderful choice!

The buffet breakfast was very ordinary, (but with delicious croissants!) and in my opinion, much too pricey.

the property itself is quite nice. The building has character as it’s a historic building and there were Christmas decorations around all the hotel which made it feel very cosy.

the temperature of the water in the indoor swimming pool was cold. I picked this hotel because I wanted to have a relaxing weekend albeit the swimming pool was packed with people and the water was cold to the point I couldn’t cope with it. I swam for about 2 min and left the pool as it was freezing outside and inside the water too. the pool is a selling point for the hotel and I consider they should really look after the temperature of the water, especially given winter in Warsaw is around 0 degrees Celsius outside. Also, while the hotel has good rates for bedrooms it is quite expensive to have breakfast and room service. they charge an additional fee of 20 PL - something I have never seen in 5 stars hotels!!
