Hampton by Hilton Oswiecim

Booked a night's stay here when we weren't comfortable staying at our Airbnb (booked months in advance). Everything was wonderful...from the check-in, friendliness of the staff, modern decor of the lobby area, cleanliness of the room and overall appearance of the hotel. And, we rarely stay in hotels as we are typically disappointed. Not this time! Price was very reasonable. Their breakfast included a varied selection that was delicious. Location is an easy walk to the old historic town center, and also a short drive to Auschwitz. Highly recommend!

We visited Oswiecim to spend time at the Aushwitz-Birkenau memorial and chose the hotel for its excellent location. We have stayed in Hampton by Hilton hotels before and this hotel was of their usual impeccable standard. We had a really good room with plenty of space and the usual luxuriously sized shower. Breakfast was fabulous with great choice and the staff could not have been more helpful. We used the hotel's underground car park for our car which was great too. All in all the hotel completely met expectations and having been to Oswiecim before I would suggest it is the best hotel in the town.

Just one minor quibble and one we knew about in advance of our stay. The car parking could be a little cheaper given we were guests; though the car park itself was excellent.

Good location, spacious rooms for business travellers. Small desk for computer work. No need to use business center. Excellent breakfast with even longer hours on Sundays. Weekend rates are good value. Free parking space not far from the hotel - unguarded. Garage 30 PLN/day.

I tried to check in early but there was no way. Coming back at 1.55 precisely I had to wait in front of a staffed reception desk until 2 pm and then another family squeezed in before me. And the shift changed. Maybe the policy does not allow the person of the ending shift to check in PAX but it would be very good to explain this to the customer. Her English was very good. The afternoon shift had probably not seen the "squeezing" family or she preferred to avoid the discussion by judging me the "easier" customer (thanks :-) for that). The whole thing was not a drama at all and I would definitely come back (at weekends!)

I stayed 2 nights. It is a new hotel with modern architecture. The staff are friendly and they have a tasty and varied breakfast. It is very clean and is located in a good area, close to the city center and the huge park. Although we were not paying attention and thought it had 4 stars, we were not disappointed.

They did not have slippers for the room, reasoning that it is only a 3-star hotel.

The staff, the cleanliness, the internal decoration, the room, the view. We thought the location of the hotel was perfect to access the city. We enjoyed walking along the river and indeed across the river to Lidl! breakfast was great

The design of the shower glass in the Kraków hotel was much better. The slight curve meant no water splashed onto the bathroom floor.

Light & airy contemp feel, great bathroom, large beds, room cleaned really well daily. The staff very helpful & friendly. All in all good value.

Lifts took a little too long, bar could have stayed open a little later.

Well run hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The property is within walking distance of the main square and a few minutes drive from the Auschwitz memorial. From here you can easily reach other cities such as the splendid Krakow. The breakfast is exceptional, plentiful and varied. The hotel also has an underground car park, which is very convenient and at a reasonable price. If I go back to Oswiecim, I would definitely stay here again

We stayed there for two main reasons: a visit to Auschwitz and a visit to the amusement parks in Zator (Energilandia and Zatorland). In terms of location - excellent, both close to the sites mentioned above and close to the center of the town. The hotel is new, clean, with very spacious rooms. The breakfast is amazing with lovely staff and a wealth of food. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and pleasant, helpful and professional.

Twin beds should be in disabled room as was difficult for one person with disability to get out of bed and latch at doors between adjoining rooms is an accident waiting to happen. little cupboard area in bathroom to hold toiletries.

The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the breakfast variety which was included in our stay. The car parking facilities were extremely secure aswell so peace of mind was apparent especially when using a hire car during our trip.
