Freedom Hostel

The room was clean and so was the shared kitchen. Nice warm room and a the hostel has a pretty view over a park! Wifi works well. Though the hostel is not very sound proof, the streets in the area were calm. Public transportation right outside.

The curtains did not cover the window completely, it's a minor detail that could easily be fixed and would make a difference. Also some guests were noisy in the corridor after 22:00 were there are supposed to be silent hours, I wish the staff would react to that. In general, the staff we met at the reception upon arrival did not seem very well equipped for the job. First they entered a lot of wrong information, they put me and my partners information in a wrong booking. It was not until the very end where the dates did not match either, that she realised it was a mistake. Also there were no towels in the room when we arrived, the same staff said they would bring it, but never did, so we had to go ask them twice.

Location: Very close to train station and tram lines. The property is next to the bus depot. The receptionist, Ula, was very nice (and she is super cute) and check in/ check out was very smooth. Bed was comfortable, clean sheets and towels were provided. Room and toilet was very clean. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, shower gel was provided. There was hot water and pressure of water was good. Room was sound proof and I did not hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. However, it was July, very hot and we had to open the windows. Since my room was next to rail/tram track, with the windows opened the room got a bit noisy. Not unbearable though. There is no AC. A table fan was present but if you are in the upper bed you would not benefit from the fan. The kitchen area had a very big screen TV ( in addition to a standard TV in the bedroom). The kitchen area was spacious and the kitchen was equipped with necessary items. I had to warm some food and there was no queue in the evening when I used it. However in the morning when everyone is taking their breakfast, the area gets crowded. Breakfast was very good. There was very good quality honey, two types of cereal, bread, jam, milk, tea, coffee - all unlimited - plus a box for everyone - containing some salad, butter, cheese and some kind of meat product for the non vegetarian option. I wish they provided an egg instead in the vegetarian box. The floor towel in the wash room got wet quickly. I hope they will consider providing more floor towels in the washroom in future.

WiFi in my room was weak and not usable. However I had mobile data and it was sufficient for me.

We stayed in this hotel for one night in a private room with bathroom. The room was pretty clean and enough for our purposes. The shower didn’t have shampoos or shower gels, but they provided the towels. We ordered breakfast, which was fine, they give it at the reception desk in a bag, it was a sandwich, a yogurt, juice and a chocolate waffle. On the fourth floor there is a kitchen where you can cook and make yourself tea and coffee for free. The hotel is not in the center, but even by foot it didn’t feel like too far. There are stores and restaurants near. There was a bit of noise, because the doors aren’t that thick and the sign in the street said some other name, “premium hotel”, I think, but don’t worry it is this one too, they are just in the same building. Overall we liked it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Freedom Hostel. We stayed in the hostel for 1 night. They found him quickly. The location is very good, in the very center of Krakow. Very friendly staff. The room matched the description. The beds in the room are comfortable, which was very important for us. Separately, I would like to note that we were able to leave our luggage for several hours at the hostel for free after check-out. Recommended Freedom Hostel.

Very close to the city centre. Free coffee, tea etc. in the kitchen. The kitchen itself had a lot of supplies. Very comfortable beds, everything was clean. Everybody at the reception was very friendly. Electric fan provided in the room. Very good for the low price.

We couldn't turn the TV on because the TV itself doesn't have a turn on button and none of the remote controls we got at the reception worked (we got 3 different remotes, then gave up on the TV.) It was a bit hard to find the entrance in the dark (we arrived at night) as there's just a plaque on the door that's hard to see in the dark and there's a big neon sign for a different hostel (Premium) which is a little confusing. When we sent the hotel a message that we have troubles finding it, nobody respoded.

We were totally satisfied with your stay here. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is quite close to the downtown, so it’ll take you 10-15 minutes slowly walking to get there. The room is spacious and light. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, cacao, teapot, microwave, and a big fridge. The WiFi works well.

There was some repair work outside the building, exactly where our windows were, so it was a bit noisy early mornings. It would be nice to warn about that. There were not hand towels and shampoo, but as we didn’t actually need those much, we didn’t go to the reception to ask for it, maybe, you can get those tho.

Large kitchen on two alternative floors, tho I didnt use it it had a lot of facilities and accessories to use like mugs, cutlery etc. Your bed has a lamp connected to a shelf near your bed Very affordable rooms Very decorative reception Nice staff

Beds are a little thin, but if you don't move around too much you're okay Rooms are very small but not cramped so it's okay Very smalll sign to show where the hotel is from the outside, easy to miss No single one person rooms/all rooms are shared Kitchen is quite far from the rooms.

The location is super. 10/15 min from the old town. The kitchen was so handy. You have a shop literally around the corner and you can buy your own food and have breakfast there. Kitchen fully equipped. Coffee, tea, cutterly etc .

Wifi was a bit poor. Something minor , the shower got blocked and we had to clean it because water was getting out of the shower.

I LOVED my room, under certain circumstances i had to stay in the room for a whole day and the sun was coming inside the room for the whole time, just in different directions. It really made my day. There was a tv and Netflix available as well :D the staff were very helpful and considerate

Nothing really. Everything was nice. I would've loved if the toilet was cleaned like in the mornings though i know that if i asked they would've responded positively to that.

It was a 15 minute walk to the Old Town area, there's also a tram nearby if you don't want to walk. Beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly.

The shower could have been a little bit cleaner and the rooms are a bit noisy. You can hear clearly what's going on in the hallway.
