Grand Hyatt Muscat

The pool was closed and had maintenance. They did not mention it during the reservation. They should mention these kind of things to the guests beforehand.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is very nice and with a direct access to the public beach. The staff is always welcoming and smile. The cleaner of our floor/wing was particularly nice.

The hotel is 25 years old and needs a bit of refurbishment but it is still a very good hotel. The lobby was closed and in the process of being repared.

The main advantage of this hotel its exceptional, wonderful, native Omani-styled lobby. Every minute spent there is unforgettable.

It is a pretty old hotel and its facilities mostly are ... a little bit tired. The Tuscany restaurant is good enough but it is not 5* hotel restaurant for sure. The pool is small and the bar there didn't work. The SPA facilities and the Club lounge zone are also very old and need renovation... They are not bad, but you are expecting usually a little bit more from a 5* hotel ...

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel. The hotel felt grand, without feeling cold. It was very welcoming, warm and tastefully decorated. The food at the restaurant is extraordinary. We would rush back to the hotel to have our dinner there because they had so much variety, the food changed daily and it was very fresh. The rooms are spacious, ours overlooked the sea. Even though the hotel was redecorating its main restaurant, the terrace is stunning and has a wonderful view, so I don't feel like I missed out. I can highly recommend anyone to stay there.

The staff hospitality and assistance was great, the room was soooo wide and comfortable, the bed room and bathroom was excellently clean, very easy check it and check out

I didn't like the view to the garden as the umbrellas were very damaged and covering the garden very badly from my room Also the shower had no window so all the hot steam was inside and was not very nice, needs an opening to allow the steam to go out

Fantastic hotel with everything you could need to enjoy a bit of downtime in Muscat. The pool and fitness club/spa were wonderful and the staff extremely helpful, accommodating and lovely to deal with. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. The tea time was lovely too!

The location is a bit far from downtown Muscat meaning you need to have a car to get anywhere. The main part of the hotel was closed off/under construction which we weren’t aware of.

I had the pleasure of spending my vacation at this stunning hotel, and I can only say that everything went wonderfully. From start to finish, my stay was simply perfect. The hotel provided a first-class experience in every aspect. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed every meal to the fullest. The restaurant staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. It was evident that the hotel management is top-notch, as the staff worked with great joy and dedication. I especially want to thank Rakesh, the hotel manager, and congratulate him on his excellent team, including Asthley, Josiah,, Zaidi, Khadija, Nuwangav, as well as the talented chef. Astley is not only a lovely young woman but also incredibly sweet and attentive. It almost seemed like she could read my thoughts. Every wish I expressed was fulfilled with joy. The hotel truly offered everything one could wish for. The facilities were top-notch, the rooms were comfortable and stylishly furnished. The service was outstanding, and the entire staff was always ready to make the guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. I thank you Mizanur for his wonderfull work and that he clean our room with so much attention. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Rakesh and his excellent team. They made my stay an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a hotel that offers luxury, first-class service, and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is wonderful, though the hotel does not have a private beach, it opens onto a very nice public beach. The beach is open to the public, and there is direct access from the hotel back side. The hotel is located quite nicely and lose to several cafes and small restaurants.

The breakfast can definitely be worked on. We did not think the breakfast quality was that of what we were paying, or that of a five start hotel. The general cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been better.

Good attention from the personnel and very nice rooms and amenities. Nice pool and common areas

Breakfast not included. Tricky advertisement. Prices too high for extra breakfast and also for the buffet dinner.

This is a wonderfully relaxing hotel/ Nothing is too much for the staff they are friendly and helpful at all times. We loved the pool, the buffet breakfast was amazing and plentiful. WE ate several evenings in the Beach bar where the food was excellent and it was veery relaxing being near the sea. Again staff so friendly. We were due to move hotels after a trip to Nizwa but decided to return to the Grand Hyatt Muscat for our final 2 nights as weliked it there so much

There is nothing I would change though my husband did think the wifi by the pool could be improved as it kept dropping off.
