Major problem, but more Booking.com fault than hotel. When you book a family room for 4, (2 adults and 2 kids) in a room with a sofa bed and a normal bed, you actually pay for 2. So whilst it started off as a slightly expensive room, after your stay you are hit with a bill to pay another 25% on top. It does state that the room is for 2 bit only after you payed on the website. It is what it is, but would be nice if you were booking for 4 people, you actually pay for 4 people. But like I said that's a booking.com problem not the hotels Also the cocktails are not worth it. Rum with secret spices is just rum and coke. Vodka with a fruit splash, yep you guessed it vodka and orange

Well located, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. I had to spend some time on the bathroom floor due to s very fun time out in Tønsberg, and it was very clean, even under the toilet and in all the corners. The bed was very comfortable, the room nice.

The window could not be opened at all. In their selection of honey for breakfast they had a wax frame for people to scrape themselves, and while that looks very fancy, it leads to the wax not being properly recycled, and there is a severe shortage of beeswax in Norway.

The room was beautiful. In terms of furniture, the restaurant, views... My window had a really pretty view of the sea and the ships. The bed was quite comfortable and the breakfast options were huge. The food looked very good, there was a lot of variety. The hotel staff (reception and restaurant) was friendly. Something nice too is that they have some kind of sweets, tea, and coffee in the afternoon.

I missed a plug close to my bed. In general, the hotel was beautiful and nice, so I would have to be very picky to find any fault. About the town, it is a bit lost If you go from Oslo but that's not his fault.

We booked a family room for 1 night and it was super big and comfortable, it was the hottest day of the summer and there was no air conditioning but we were able to open the window and use a fan that was in the room and it was very good. The breakfast was very good. The hotel car park has few stalls and when we arrived it was full so we used a public car park next to the hotel for 350kr a day. In front of the hotel is a seaside boulevard with many restaurants and bars with a super good and lively atmosphere.

The sofa bed mattress was hard and wifi was slow.

Great location. Friendly and service minded staff and good sized room for a family. Breakfast was excellent and the staff even came by the table to serve coffee.

The parking facilities at the hotel is not really made for modern cars as it is and old alleyway, it was a very tight fit getting the car in and out again. This is however mitigated by the other parking facilities all around the hotel in Tønsberg.

Super cosy bed, very spacious room with sofa corner. Great bathroom with large shower (good water pressure and hot), nice shampoo/conditioner/lotion products. And a great hairdryer- this is so really relevant for me as I have long hair and I am so fed up with those tiny, ridiculously overheating hotel-hairdryers! It made my mornings so much better. Also, there is a proper ironing board. I travel for business and ironed clothes are essential. It was super quiet, with no noise from the neighbouring rooms or the hallway. The breakfast offered everything one could wish for, I was very happy!

My colleagues had a room in the older part of the hotel and it was quite small and not as fancy, but still very nice.

The hotel is right in the center and the breakfast is very good. We were with the family and everybody was happy with the hotel. Also parking in the hotel is ok, it is not for free, but staff was flexible to come in and out to pick up the family. We had a good stay.

Really good place in the city because just leaving the hotel and in oposite side of rad there is a shore of sea with restaurants and good view. Really good view from window in room with sea view. Everything was clean and comfortable, perfect place for short stay.

There is no possibility to get some massage or sauna for relax. Also one staff girl was not really polite and all staff was not good talking in English it is really strange in Norway.

I liked everything ,the room clean and big size for a single room ,good bed to sleep ,nice decent breakfast, and the staff very helpfull and super friendly for sure i will be back here when i will be in tonsberg

The hotel is very well positioned, in the port, but very near the train station and the city center, too. The breakfast is very good. All staff is very friendly. The cosmetics in the bathroom are very fine. We have seen a spectacular sunrise directly from our bed, room 648.
