Amrâth Hotel Lapershoek Arenapark

Stayed in a 'Comfort' grade room and found it to be perfect for my requirements. Room was clean, in good repair and easily big enough for a single traveler - larger than other singles I have stayed in - and had twin beds pushed together. Bed was made up every day. There was a kettle and cups (china) with drink sachets (tea, coffee, sugar and creamer). There was a desk fan stored in the wardrobe which was welcome as the day temperature was 30+ degrees). The room safe was large (enough for a laptop I would guess) and functioned easily (tip - instructions say enter 3-6 digits, I at first tried 4 which didn't work - use 6!). The Bathroom was spacious, the shower is a very large walk in variety with a 'Rain shower' type head or alternative hand unit. Everything was very clean. There are liquid soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers - all full. I ate dinner in the evening on the terrace as it was so warm during my stay, and the food was excellent. The service from the staff was also excellent - despite them having 2 large parties to serve, as well as single me (!) Also the reception staff were all friendly and helpful. Additionally, it is possible to hire bicycles by the day - which I did - and they are in good condition (kept in a covered and locked bike store), have integrated lights and a lock. I can recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I think maybe the hotel had been recently refurbished (?) and with the carpet being new, I found the room door was a rubbing bit when opening (hardly a problem, really!)

The staff we came across were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (we had particularly requested the larger room), the bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard space to store items. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and items were kept topped up.

It would have been useful if there was a shelf or something on which to put toiletries next to the handbasin in the bathroom and, in particular, in the shower rather than them being on the floor.

The breakfast buffet spread had a wide variety of breads , cheeses, sausages and cold cuts, fruits and everything else.. It was a satisfying breakfast for us considering that we came from an Asian country where rice is common for meals. The person in charge was very jolly and the staff were all warm and receptive. Our first time in Europe and the first 2 days were happily spent at your hotel. We were glad that we chose your hotel. It was a very good experience!!!

We cannot get good wifi connection especially at night. That's about it.

Excellent hotel with an excellent location for my purposes. Company has a customer that I visit annually and the Amrath Hotel Lapershoek Arenapark is 2 stops away. It's an excellent hotel that is clean, quiet and with a friendly staff. Their restaurant serves great food and the breakfast is top notch.

As with just about every hotel on the planet (at least it seems that way), the wifi doesn't have a strong signal. I think I'm cursed as the rooms I book always seem to be the furthest away from the router so my connection consistently drops out and is always weak to begin with. This is not meant to pick on the Amrath as every hotel seems to have this problem...from Asia to Europe, North and South America it seems to be the same problem with very few exceptions to the rule.

very comfortable room, great breakfast. I asked for a king or queen but there were two single beds pushed together, which wasn't great but they were comfortable.

Daily coffee maker in the breakfast area could have been cleaned daily. The outside of the machine had the same dirty marks on it for the entire time of our stay. But overall, it was great!!!!

This is my ‘go-to’ hotel when visiting family in Hilversum. Great position for me and so easy to reach from Schipol by train. Breakfast is good, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable.

very clean property. lovely knowledgable staff and very comfy beds. the staff are just lovely.

could maybe have more of a selection for breakfast but in saying that I really enjoyed the breakfast that I ate.

Quiet, greenery and decent environment round the hotel; 20mins easy walk to Hilversum centre, 15mins drive to Utrecht/ Amsterdam; newly refurbished bathroom and wardrobe in the room; comfortable, spacious bed; daily good quality housekeeping

Could hardly name any literally, perhaps a small fridge in the hotel room could be added:)

Nice place & people, good standard room, everything was good.

Maybe a suggestion: having an automatic vending machine (drinks, snacks) somewhere in the hotel would be a plus !

Nice hotel; easy to access by public transport. Very good restaurant linked to the hotel, rooms with enough space and all facilities needed.

Breakfast time is quite late (8.30 o´clock) in case you need to leave early.
