I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek from April 11th to April 13th, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure every need was met with a smile. The facilities were top-notch, and the ambiance was both welcoming and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and style, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Windhoek. But what truly stood out was the food. The meals were nothing short of spectacular! Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each dish was a delightful culinary experience—flavorful, fresh, and prepared with the highest standards. The Hilton Garden Inn truly exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. If you’re in Windhoek and looking for a place to stay, this is the place!

NO Gym facility

Located in the central area, good facilities, comfortable and clean, professional and helpful staff, good value for the money. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food in case you do not have a chance to go out. There are a few shops and cafes as well as a shopping mall in walking distance. The famous Christus church is just behind the hotel. A very nice pool on the second floor where you can also enjoy the sunset. Some rooms like mine also have view over the pool and the sunset view.

I was a bit surprised when I received the room and found a piece of garbage left by the previous guest on the desk forgotten to be removed while cleaning the room. Some advice or signs asking guests to be quiet or not smoke at the pool area would be good for those who would like to relax and rest, since some other guests were very loud or smoking.

It was clean and all worked besides Wifi once because wrong password, otherwise very good Perhaps wifi password was changed but the staff manage to fix this after all was helpful. Good clean water boiler and minibar, perfect to use when buy breakfast or small cold food Near to the most

Confusion about payments, recommend all to save and request a receipt Not a big thing but lack of Europe contacts but they may have some free adapters. Optional, they have good USB in the Wall for charging

The hotel is located in the center, right next to the Hilton Windhoek. Where we went to have dinner. Their sky bar is amazing. We had a room on the 7th and highest floor and it was very quiet. Hotel pool area on the 1st floor is not really appealing, but the pool has a decent size and there are +/- 10 deck chairs. Ideal hotel for your first or last night in Namibia. We were able to get a late checkout (15h) for a small charge.

The 3 large (sun) umbrellas surrounding the pool do not support wind gusts well... smaller ones or fixed structure would be better.

The hotel is located in the city centre of Windhoek near the German Church and the beautiful Museum of Independance. The room was big enough and very quiet. I really appreciated the very comfy mattress.

Slow service and waiters not really focused at the bar / coffee hop near the reception on the ground floor. I ordered a coffee and waited waited for over 10 minutes. I had to chase them to get my coffee which was not even good!!!

We really liked our stay at Hilton Garden Inn - and so we stayed there even twice. The people there are really nice, breakfast is buffet with all anyone would like, the rooms are spacious and very nice. The place is great to visit Independance Avenue, the Christ Church and all the building around (Tintenpalast, Independance Museum,...) We felt safe in the area. We also liked the garage to park our car.

You don't get the feeling of being in Africa. The hotel is one which could be anywhere. That is not negative, I just want to note it.

Good value

There was a very big intermittent noise from the HvAC system through the night. This happened in our first stay and I asked not to be put on same floor but we were and noise was there again. Staff said sorry but did nothing to remedy this for us. In my view, the hotel or Hilton (particularly since I am a Hilton Rewards member) should provide financial compensation. None was offered.

Centrally located and an easy walk to the Night market, church and independence museum. Clean rooms, comfy bed and good selection of channels on TV. Staff were polite and helpful. Would recommend a stat here after your long drives and travel around Namibia

You have to park in the parking lot below the hotel. But have to pay for parking everytime you leave and enter again.

Good location. Good Breakfast. Room was new and modern. Not much to do in the area.

I bought some snacks from the reception shop, but they had no change and I was told that I can collect my $28 later that evening of the next morning. The next morning when we checked out the receptionist was apparently not in and had not made any arrangements for the money and we left without the money. This seemed to be a trend throughout our trip in Namibia.

Hotel is very central, the people are very nice, the room are great for families (suites), everything looks new, organized and clean. Good wi-fi too. Restaurant is very good- we had our dinners there as we did not feel very safe walking around in the evening. breakfast is very good too. Hotel arranged transfer for us from and to the airport. In essence, we are Portuguese family, that really enjoyed our stay and that would like others to have the same experience as we did. Have fun!
