Ive stayed many time here and never been disappointed. the hotel is obviously in need of renovation or at least some upgrading. one of the best location in Marrakesh but really staff is what makes this place always a great place to come back to. everyone is kind, helpful and always there to help. great value for money. I’ll definitely stay again.

Le Grand Imilchil Hotel is very well located in the Gueliz district. While it's a bit run-down and could use some renovation, it's still a decent option for a quick night stop at a reasonable price, especially if you need parking. The staff is friendly, the check-in process is easy, and the standard breakfast is sufficient. My room and private bathroom were clean enough.

There was a problem with the electric plug, the only one existing in the room. It needed the upper lights to be on, so I couldn't charge my phone during the night. Also no soap available, this is a must.

I loved a place where it was. It was like 4 minutes to carrefour express, 20 minutes to marrakech market. That was amazing. And a rooftop is killing it… So beautiful views.

I’ve booked a double bed, because we went as a couple. Receptionist changed it to two single beds and he didn’t wanted to give us a normal double for us. Pathetic. +these two single beds were so freaking hard that we couldn’t sleep. Very weird people working over there. Pool very cold. Room should be much much cleaner…

Excellent service from friendly staff, rooms were dated but very clean and functional. Great base to explore the many sights of Marrakech. Breakfast was basic but good. Excellent value for money.

Shower was old but functional, washbasin took ages to drain. The bad reviews on here were not considerate of the cost of the hotel, I recommend people book the star of hotel to the level of their expectations.

Good location, 15 min walking to Jaama el Fna Square, kind People working there, good breakfast, good accomodation for the price. You can borrow a hair dryer at a reception desk for free, they can arrange you transfer from hotel to the Menara airport with taxi for 15 eur. There is a small car parking infront of hotel. They also print us for free our boarding cards we needed to go Back home.

A Little old equipment in the room, specially in the bathroom, which needs renovation. But for 2 nights stay it was good.

From the moment I enter the staff was so friendly! The room I got was as asked on the quiet side, but I wanted a balcony so I got another room at the street side. I am used to sleep through noise so that was not bothering me that much. Room was clean, bed comfortable, bahtroom good, allways hot water. Breakfast is served at the table with fresh orange juice, good to start the day with. The reception staff is offering any help you need, tours, taxi, printing boarding cards and also the security guys are friendly. Location is perfect, everything in walking distance. Highly recommended for the price you pay for. Will come back again!

De airco generator of the next room was on my balcony, the noise is annoying somehow, however I slept through it, was to lazy to change room for that.

Breakfast starts at 6.30 am compared to others who start at 7.30 am or have no breakfast due to Ramadan. The pool was good enough for a short relief from the hot sun. Friendly staff. Quiet region.

During my first stay at level 2 was given a twin bedroom with one bed removed, thus room feels weird. The curtain hook broke but did not repair. During my second time stays in level 6 twin bedroom, the curtain hook also broke and was not repaired. Wonder how difficult to get it fixed. Housekeeping removed my bath and floor towel early in the morning before checking out. Wonder what's intention.

Staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were spotless, the sheets were hotel standard white linen. I'm fussy about linen but I was more than happy to sleep in these sheets. The pool was lovely, location excellent and we even had a balcony we were not expecting. It was fabulous, we would definitely stay again.

The only thing I could say I didn't like (and I'm reaching just so I can give a balanced review) is that the patio door wasn't very secure and some of the decor was a bit dated (rust patches in the bath, for example). After a bit of trial and error we got the aircon to just above a standard floor fan noise, and the decor added to the charm. It is a beautifully decorated hotel so odd bits of aging are acceptable.
