the wifi did not work well on the room & the Marriott hotel has his own exchange rate of the dollar to the Mexican peso which makes the room 12% more expensive then the price you booked !!! Be aware of this ! it’s pure robbery and Booking.com should have warned us as they put on the booking confirmation ‘to the daily rate’

The staff were all fabulous. The front desk clerks, Alfonzo at the bar, the bell persons, the restaurant staff, top notch professional. Give them all a raise. The bed was a cloud from Heaven but there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. love the hygienic amenities. All around a much needed five star night.

Well located, hotel with all the services you need. Pool is big and great for some relax time.
This is an old building and some facilities show wear and use. Also some furniture in rooms shows signs of time. In particular the phone in my room didn't work.

It was a bit lacking as they had barriers up around the buffet due to the lockdown in Mexico. However, I was also hoping to have the option of the M club. I guess most of my issues can be left due to covid.
Would have preferred to have a lounge where I could work and have snack. Also there was limited water available. When I aske the day staff for some extra water they informed me that I had to call room service. Very disappointing.

The only hotel with a secured parkin lot in the back of the hotel in a separate garage and not on the street with direct access to anybody. This was a major plus and actually the main reason why I booked this hotel! My car was full of stuff and I had to have a secured parking where nobody else except the hotel guests have access. Otherwise the hotel had everything I expected, but not from a 5 star hotel but maybe a 4 star hotel.
The room was EXTREMELY cold at arrival and then all the time until check-out even after we immediately turned off the A/C. It was a cold day in January so A/C was not needed at all and when we arrived it was blasted on to the coldest setting and was freezing cold inside while outside it was already pretty cold for Villahermosa. Temperature settings should be set to 20 °C as minimum, not 15°C and then let it adjust to the guests.
