location and proximity to the beach with their own resto bar, parking and massage spa. wonderful staff. great housekeeping. convenient, comfortable, good vibes and good food and drinks. love the feel of a rainforest and a beach. felt safe.

room needs updating. smells old but nothing opening windows could not fix.

Good to be away from the main/busy area but is still walkable at night. Great the staff let us check in super late. The beach front is a hidden gem!

As with most places in Tulum, is was more expensive than other places we stayed in Mexico but this place offers good value for money!

ON the beach, I could see the ocean from my garden view room, which had a gorgeous lanai and overlooked a beautiful array of tropical plants and a beautiful spiral staircase. Loved that they had little pools to rinse your feet outside each room! Front desk was so kind and helpful, especially Marcael, and they had novels to borrow! The breakfast was nice with eggsm fruit and coffee or juice, and Fernando the server was kind and efficient. I loved how the double doors from my bed opened up onto the lanai. The beach area has swings and combrotable chairs/beds. There is a massage area on the beach for like $25, and there is a little bar there, too. Absolute paradise. That hotel zone in Tulum can be noisy and bumpin, but thus hotel sits in a particular spot that is quiet at night. Perfect. The air conditioning only runs from 8pm to 8am, which was absolutely fine in April/May. Parking was available, too, but just know that they stack cars in a driveway, and you have to give your key to hotel staff, which was fine, it just made it so that I couldn't just come and go without sometimes having to have staff move other cars. They were quick about it tho.

This was a gorgeous resort with an amazing room overlooking the beach. The resort did have an eco feel, in amongst the trees. The staff were friendly, both with sorting trips and at the beach bar. the location is great, in the middle of the other bars and restaurants. I'd seen other reviews complain about noise here but we didn't hear anything at night. very peaceful, although we were on the beach side of the resort.

Nothing. the only tiny thing was the juice with breakfast every morning was watermelon which isn't my favourite but that was a tiny tiny thing! :)

Location, location, location

No pool

Room interior exceeded expectations. Nothing like on photos but better. Stuff was extremely nice and helpful. Even though we stayed for only three nights, our room was entirely cleaned every day. Hotel facility includes private beach with loungers, umbrellas and bar. Location is in my opinion unbeatable. Little as 5 minutes by walk to the best restaurants such as RosaNegra, Bak, Ilios, Gitana.. Literally in the middle of everything but you still don’t get any noise and can sleep in peace. Facility has a private parking as well. We simply loved it!

Only con is unsteady water pressure and adjusting and getting hot water was pretty hard.

We were able to check in early. The staff was over accomodating, as in putting up a hammock on our balcony per my request. The provided drinking water, breakfast daily with eggs, toast, fruit and coffee and beachfront.

AC runs only from 8PM-8AM. Third floor oceanfront location only accessible with winding staircase. Furnishings and finishes could use a facelift. The seasonal sea weed influx was a bit much, and offshore winds created a lot of chop in the water.

the location, it was nice that they provided in the room filtered water for free. it is a good value for money compared to other hotels nearby. the day we checked out, there was a taxi strike, but luckily they had a car available with a driver so we could go to our next hotel, it was even a little bit cheaper than the taxi, that was much appreciated.

the beach was not clean, they could make a little effort and clean it, it wouldn’t take much as the beach in front of the hotel is small.

We came here for my 30th birthday and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless and they were always there for you, for anything you needed. The whole crew was priceless, but Fernando truly made us feel like royalty. On the morning of my birthday, he approached me singing happy birthday. That was so thoughtful. The room was everything we expected. AC kicked on around 8 PM and off around 7-8 AM (can’t remember exactly). However, we had no issues with it being hot during the day because we kept the windows covered, doors closed, and fan on. We were also on the jungle side, though so more coverage from the sun. There was not one drink that the bar made that wasn’t good. Our favorite was the pina colada. The breakfast is good- you get free breakfast but can purchase more from their restaurant for a very affordable price. Everything we’ve tried from the restaurant was amazing, and they’re open until 5 PM. The restaurant and bar were a couple of the few places in Tulum that didn’t try to rip us off with prices. There are super affordable massages by the sweetest ladies, right next to the bar. Front desk will help you schedule Covid tests, which were stress-free. Please make sure you tip all the people who work at this hotel. Other places around there automatically include gratuity in their already overpriced services, which was kind of annoying. The people at this hotel don’t ask for it or expect it, but truly do deserve it.

the staff did everything they could to give us a pleasant stay. It’s a cool and lowkey place. nice beachbar, good food. it’s true that the breakfast is basic, but we had that in all the hotels in this region.

be aware that you pay for the location. If you dont necessary want to stay next to the beach and you prefer more authentic restaurants/bars with Latin music, I’d advice you to stay in Tulum Pueblo. If you want a more authentic feel at the beach, book a room in playa Canek! + I’d advice a beachfront room!
