Hotel Panacea Tulum

We stayed 7 nights in a suite with private pool. Rooms are very spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Cleaning is done precise and thoroughly including the cleaning of all the public areas and facilities. The property gardens are nothing but beautiful. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is to the point and on a small scale with fresh food and pastries (don't expect a massive buffet). The chef is making excellent eggs and guacamole. The location is new and the roads are still unpaved (like 90% of the Mexican roads, so nothing to worry about). In the area there is still construction work, but nothing which would affect your stay or makes too much noise. A lot of restaurants and streetfood close to the hotel. We would definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

Fresh orange juice during breakfast would improve the overall quality, especially in the country of "naranjas" not difficult nor expensive to accomplish. The check-out process is rather slow. The room needs to be completely inspected before leaving to make sure nothing is broken (unknown to me). Make sure to calculate 15-20 minutes extra in your travelplans.

Friendly staff, smaller place so really personalized service, very private, great for couples and families that want to keep it low key. Location was close to the city, but the hotel is located in a dark area, tough for people who have a hard time driving in dark areas in new places. Breakfast was made to your order, overall good stay. First time in Tulum and had a good experience. They surprised my wife for her birthday with some nice towel decorations in the room, great surprise, the staff was the best part of the stay.

Location could be tough for people who are not use to driving in new places, so taxi might be better for those individuals. Maybe a larger snack and drink store for those who want to buy something and not leave the hotel.

Everything was perfect, the environment was relaxed and calm, the flat with a massive bed, lovely and instant homemade breakfast, with healthy options, a lot of fresh guacamole, and a very European approach. The staff was amazing, and their perfect WIFI was all over the flat & hotel. Also, everything was always super clean, with room cleaning service at any hour. It also has a greatly equipped gym, 2 swimming pools constantly being cleaned, and super cozy vibes. We felt at home but better, with top services. We were really able to relax and enjoy our time there. The location we also love it because was in Valetta, a small new area which is being developed but is close to everything if you have a car or motorbike, but quiet and nice vibes. We can't wait to come back.

Nothing. Everything was perfect, it improved our trip for good, and we loved it. It would be only for this place if we are back in Mexico.

Beautiful grounds, cool jungle setting amazing pool,comfy and spacious living room and bedroom. Great kitchen. Hope to visit again soon!

This area is newly developing and not in the thick of things. Dirt roads all around, etc. There is a main drag with a few restaurants and coffee shops--but prices were very high. It would be great if they could find a way to provide more shade for sitting by the pool. It's a long bike ride to the beach. They have some strange cash only policies for the taxes etc. Be prepared.

Modern, spacious rooms and huge balcony with private pool. We loved our stay at Panacea. The staff were super friendly and happy to help with any questions or give us recommendations. Breakfast was good and CiCi was happy to make us eggs in any style each morning. There are cute bars and restaurants nearby, the beach however is about a 30 minute cycle. There is a lot of building work going on in Tulum so it is hard to avoid but once inside Panacea it felt tranquil.

The main pool was surrounded by trees which was beautiful but felt quite shaded

Really nice hotel all round, amazing sized suite with great facilities, beautiful gym and massive pool! The location is perfect, you’re a 5 minute walk from a really buzzing strip of restaurants and bars and a short cycle into town or to the beach. Staff were really great, we had one tiny issue with the room and it was fixed within the hour! The hotel bikes are well worth getting for beach days and to go to the shops!

The only minor thing is a lack of a bar area but it just means you can bring your own beers and drinks and drink by the pool! Salt, pepper and oil would be a great touch for the kitchen but I’m now just being picky!

Everything! I had booked the appartement with private terrace and private pool (+one balcony over the jungle). Very big size pool for a private roof top pool. The appartement is huge and fully equipped in every room (maybe a TV could be hanged in the bedroom, if I'm being picky) The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with eggs on demand and full buffet with all home made fresh products. Gym is good size and fully equipped for daily training while on holiday. The location of the hotel is just around the corner of a main street in La Veleta with full range of restaurants and shops/beauty places.

Anna at reception was super friendly and helpful! Thank you for your warm welcome. The loft with the private pool is a plus! Note that the 60sqm in the description includes the balcony & pool. The bed is big and the bathroom spacious. If you have a car, you can access to the beach clubs and restaurants in that area very quickly (15 min depending on traffic).

I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast selection. Once there were no granola and the next day no yogourt :( I believe for the price you pay we could have fresh seasonal fruit juices. The fridge in the room made a lot of noise so we had to unplug it every night to be able to sleep.

Amazing staff. Wonderful well appointed large suites, beautiful protected secure safe grounds, oasis like setup, lovely pool areas and great service all round. Very close to amazing taco shops, cafes, pizza, juice bars, etc. Family friendly.

1/7 days there was slight septic smell noticeable near the lounge of the large pool area. Tulum has no city septic, so no way around this. Tulum water is polluted so you have to drink bottled water. There is no way to get around this.

We enjoyed our stay at Panacea a lot. Our room was really big and had a nice patio and even mosquito nets in all windows and patio doors which was great. The common outdoor area including the pool is really nice to enjoy some relaxing hours. We also liked the breakfast a lot which offers various options for every taste. But the very best about this accommodation is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!

The road is a bit challenging and we just missed some salt/pepper or oil/vinegar in the kitchenette and the apartment maybe misses some little decoration details to make it more cosy but this is only complaining on a high comfort level.
