Hotel Casa de las Flores

This family owned property is wonderful. We received a warm welcome and we were very pleased with our room. It was spacious and clean. The daily cleaning was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. The pool is very welcome and a great social area. The decor is traditional Mexican and we like that a lot. The location is good as it’s on the outskirts of the really touristy 'strip' but still easy walking to the beach. The bar next door provided a much needed beer on our day or arrival, and the coffee place Ocho's on 4th has the BEST coffe ever

The shower head really needed descaling as so many of the holes were blocked that the shower wasn’t that satisfying. There were no glasses or tea making facilities in the room although we did receive a couple of mugs when we asked for something to drink out of.

•It is a truly beautiful venue, glorious colour schemes and charming architecture. •Staff are nice and helpful! •Centrally located, walking distance to everything! •A big plus is that it is not too noisy, not to say its an oasis of quiet, but its pretty good. Most central parts of this town are beset by awful noises, this hotel has far less noise than any other hotel we stayed in, and we tried a few. Ofcourse, there is always some noise, and its a courtyard hotel where sound transmits, so you are at the mercy of any guest with poor etiquette- just saying this to manage expectations. We love it and will return! thanks team

amazing / beautiful property with large rooms including bathroom and shower room, plenty of space for storing as well - clothes suitcases etc. great location, close to the buzz but with no sleep disturbance. I slept like baby, no sound whatsoever. staff super helpful with awesome restaurants tips, close to a huge Walmart - for last minute cheaper shopping instead of duty free - and small shops for daily necessities. 10 min walking to either ADO bus station and 12-15 min to ferry terminal. I only spend one day - sleepover between Cozumel and Cancún airport - but would have definitely stay longer !

the hotel is located close to the center and the main street, but it is not noisy. except for one single room which is on the right hand side of the first floor. the room doesn’t have a glass window and the music at night is loud. however the staff was super helpful and helped to exchange our room. we had a room then on the ground floor in the back and it was peaceful. we had a good sleep afterwards. the rooms are simple , but the bed is very comfortable.

not every room is so quite.

The property itself is very pretty, very colorful, Mexican, lovely trees, and a beautiful pool. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, they gave us whatever we needed (pool towel, early check-in, etc). Room much bigger than expected with a huge bed, good airco, and details. Very very highly recommended for this price.

The location was great, quiet and secluded. The breakfast was very good, made to order and included in our rate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, requesting taxi service for us as needed. The location is just far enough to be quiet and just close enough to take in all the main street shopping and resturants.

Hot water faucet was broken in bathroom. Could have used more towels ( only 2) / face clothes ( none). Those were the only two things that we really had an issue with. No other problems or concerns. Would stay again.

As others have stated, this is a great location, close to everything, but a block or two out of the madness. Room were simple but clean and with plenty of space. Staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful, very nice people. I hate mega resorts and love small places like this. Inexpensive, genuine, a good place to lay your head. My kids had fun in the tiny pool and it was just a great place overall.

There are small gaps in the door frame and no screens on the bathroom window so I worried we might get unwanted guests (bigs or lizards), but none ever came to visit.

The location was amazing, only a few mins walk from the beach and with great dining options literally in the same street. Highly recommend Lost Tiki next door and Hummus opposite the hotel. There’s also a laundry place opposite the hotel which was very convenient. The room itself was big and had a hammock which was awesome and the wifi was great too, so a perfect option for all digital nomads out there.

The pool was in the shade most of the day and the room and bathroom slightly dated.

We loved this place so much for a number of reasons. Location was great in the very centre of Playa del Carmen but enough away from 5 avenue, meaning it would take just a few min to 5avenue and beach front but still it is super peacefull. Thing that we loved the most was beautifull and authentic style of its looby, entrance, pool arrea and beautyfull lushes garden. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were neat and cleaned every day. All in all great value for the money. And yeah it looks even way nicer than in the photos.

-great location away from the proper hustle and bustle of Playa, but not far from some great restaurants and the famous strip -room was very large and well equipped -pool was nice and colourful

-we weren’t told anything about breakfast, but heard it through other guests that it was available -shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot - no in between -our water stopped working in the room and a bad smell was coming from the taps. -not enough deck chairs around the pool
