This old Hacienda style Hotel suited our travel and visiting needs perfectly. Pet friendly and with good, secure parking. Without exception, all the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, creating a lovely atmosphere. Very clean.
Some rooms, overlooking the courtyard restaurant, suffer from noise and cooking fumes. We asked for a different room and were relocated without fuss. This is an old style hotel and is, maybe, a little ‘tired’ in places but nonetheless is a well run establishment.

The buffet was amazing, and all the food was delicious.
There is a lot of sound between 6am-11pm in the rooms surrounding the first courtyard, they should mention it when making the reservation. We had to ask for a room change that was further back in the hotel, after that there was no problem.

It was noisy, our rooms were close to the restaurant and all the morning service noises were loud from around 6am.

This is a Hacienda, converted into a hotel. Some of the modern amenities are not found, instead there is a gorgeous layout of gardens, courtyards and hallways reminding you of carriages arriving and vaqueros bunking in rooms. There are so many architectural aspects you can explore for a day and still be surprised. You can't find that at the next square Holiday inn.

Don Vasco is wonderful with beautiful colonia style rooms, comfortable beds and many amenities. Pets are welcomed for a small fee. There is a beautiful garden and yard for walking dogs and enjoying the many species of flora. The staff was very service minded and fulfilled several special requests with a smile.

The pool was not what I expected it was dirty, the food a little pricy and no Wifi were my room was because it was too far from the router.
