Hotel Herencia By Hosting House

Perfect location in the historic center, without being smack dab next to/across from the cathedral and so much noise o the weekend; a block from that was perfect! Beautiful property, and the decor is very lovely. Amazing food in the restaurant spoiled us! Very comfortable rooms, and a bonus that there was AC to cool off from the brutal summer heat. Above all, the staff is incredible! we would rate this a 20 out of 10!

The only downside is that the safe is in a corner in the closet that is difficuly for a left-handed person with a bad back to get to...

The location is perfect for walking around downtown Morelia, the staff were great, suite was incredibly spacious and clean. Loved the water pressure of the shower!! Also we went out a couple of times, and there was always someone at the lobby ready to let us in despite it being late at night. Staff were also very quick to bring us more towels or other toiletries upstairs when we called in for them.

There is no elevator available in the property, so this is not an accesible hotel for anybody that would have difficulty going up several flights of stairs, plus dealing with bringing your luggage upstairs.

What we liked most about the property was the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds. Every room has an AC which was great during our stay for the hot nights. The staff. They were amazing!! Honest, kind, and trustworthy staff they have here. My brother left his expensive razor in our room and we happened to switch to a different room. When we arrived to the room, they had moved the razor into our new room!!!! If that’s not great customer service I don’t know what is. This is our third time staying here. We will continue to come back.

Great location of the hotel, less than 2 mins walk to the main cathedral and about 5 to the other main places to visit, the hotel itself and room view amaze me and my family, great hotel

Parking location, although they have valet parking on staff you need to stop on the main street to get access to the hotel after the valet will take the vehicle to the parking lot located about 3 minutes walking time, and if you are checking out early in the morning i would like for them to have some lights on, they turn off the lights on the hotel and it gets pretty scary

The location is perfect! You are in the historical center and can walk most anywhere or take a taxi for just a few dollars. My room had a balcony on the main road. That is the nosier side but it makes you a part of all the life below. The Main street Christmas lights were directly in from of my little balcony. The property was built in the 1800s and is just beautiful. The Restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious and very affordable. I ate most meals there.

There is really nothing I can say bad about my stay. The bed was hard for me but that is just me. The bed had a beautiful carved headboard and a chandelier above it. The only thing that I think should be added is a chair. I borrowed one from the hallway. Maybe even two folding chairs or a small loveseat that can be moved to sit by the balcony. Other than that, I loved it!!!!!!

Price is a little high to not include breakfast. That being said, it is a gorgeous hotel where you are made to feel at home. Beds are comfy, shower is great, and the pancakes are to die for. Wifi seems to depend on what room you have. Our last visit, it was fine; this visit, not so much. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Front desk is helpful with tours. Location is great. This hotel is home when we visit Morelia.

The location is great and is closed to most of the important buildings in the city and just one block away from the main plaza.

Check-in was at 3pm but the room wasn't ready until nearly 4:30pm. Valet parking is not available anymore, so you need to park your car by your own and walk back to the hotel.

not only was it in a great location but the rooms was truly breathtaking! it was just like the photos and better. great for a family trip or a romantic getaway.

The only thing about this Hotel is that you have to park your car in a garage a street down. Then carry your luggage though town, till you reach the Front desk. so park what you can carry, just a heads up.

Its an excelent place to stay, I'll recomend to anybody that wants to stay in Morelia.

I just need to say that found the Hotel was not the best experiencies, they need a logo that can see when are around the hotel, something visible, a photo on Maps to see how is the entry.
