Puerta Cortes Residences

Staff is solid, with follow-up, service, information, and making the stay incredible. The accommodations provide incredible value!! We would definitely stay here again. The amenities are very nice. The food at the Beach Club is very good. There really is nothing upside-down to submit on the facility. There is some major construction going on to the La Paz city side of the property in further site development. There is some noise. It would not bother everyone, but it is there. Again, we would return, because of the location to the incredible beaches to the immediate North w/in minutes and the Marina shops, restaurants and amenities. Actually, the Marina restaurants need to be "heralded". These unique little restaurants do not look like much; but they have world class flavor, taste, service and menus. We had five meals there, and we could brag about the food in each case. At the residences, you are staying on top of the hill. The Marina and Beach Club are down below. They have a 'shuttle' of many golf carts that come at your beckoning w/o more than a couple minute wait. Workout room in the residences is worthy. Pools are worthy. Accommodations were impeccably clean and spacious. The condo we had, ocean view, seemed close to 1,400 FT2. Huge with two bathrooms, full up-to-date kitchen with all things needed to cook and entertain. The balcony will not be out done by any resort on earth. The balcony had much furniture and more space than anyplace on earth.

La Paz Municipal Police. It is more prudent to find alternate transportation than a rental car.

We were so impressed with the level of customer service, the condo, the facilities and the restaurants. It was an incredible vacation and every restaurant was incredible!

The only gripe would be - we wish our condo came with a golf cart. While the front desk was incredible and immediately came to pick us up to bring us to the market, beach club or restaurants - we felt bad always having to call and ask for a ride.

The view from the room was gorgeous! The room was beautiful and super clean. The Beach Club was outstanding! However- you do need either a car or a golf cart to get there- it would be a very long walk from the Residences. It was really nice to have the mini-kitchen in the room, even just for morning coffee and to keep some cold drinks and snacks. The restaurants on the property were really good. We had an awesome meal at the La Taberna Spanish Tapas restaurant, and they had a really nice wine list with wines that go well with their food. The sandwiches at the coffee shop were also really good, and the mini-market was well stocked with all the basics you could need. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

The check-in was awkward- we had to find a location in the marina, which is not near the building, to get the keys. That took us a while as we didn't know that. Most likely this is because of Covid and they were understaffed. It looked like there is normally check-in at the lobby, but there was no staff there. The property was quiet, but I think mostly because there was no one there. I think it would have been fairly noisy if the building was full, as there was a lot of noise from the hallways. There are no services at the residences, but maybe that is normal? In general though, these things would not keep us from staying there again.

the staff were very accommodating, genuinely excited to see you and see how they can be helpful. We don’t speak Spanish (yet) - and all the staff were helpful in helping us learn key phrases - and all the staff spoke great English! everything was clean from the walkways, restaurants, bathrooms, etc.

Very nice but pricey. It should have included transportation to and from the hotel for the price. The pool wasn't heated.

We had an excellent vacation at Puerta Corte! Our room at Vista Mar was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Staff, Hector and front office staff, were very friendly and informative. Pool was amazing and food around the facilities was great and very affordable. Definitely will return for a relaxing, tranquil stay.

This property is lovely! Everybody was very accomodating and the rooms were beautiful. I highly recommend staying here when you are in La Paz.
