Unima Grand

Very good location for me, breakfast was very good and included in my stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, also in a strange situation with a person who followed me they were very attentive and helpful. The reception staff was very nice, the lobby looked impeccable and WiFi was immediately offered upon arrival and worked well throughout the premises. The airport transfer was much appreciated, fast and well-organised. The car was very clean. I recommend staying here for a night or two!

There was a bit of a smell of cigarettes in the room and the view was onto another building just meters away. It looked a bit run-down but was overall I enjoyed my stay there!

Service of the hotel starting from booking till departure just awesome. Unima Grand gave me confidence from the very first connection. They were always on what’s up and though our local flight was delayed they met us at the airport and delivered to the hotel by a car. This hotel is perfect for the night before international flight departure. You can rely on them for arranging the cars timely on your arrival and departure. They meet you with the fresh towels and juices and provide excellent breakfast. Also the dinner at the roof restaurant is nice, that was one of the best grilled tuna for the reasonable price at Maldives with healthy vegetables

The room is small but for not long stay it is ok

We had two overnight stays: before travelling to our island resort, then also on the return journey. Both times, the airport transfers included in the hotel price were smooth and efficient. The hotel is a little impersonal but perfectly comfortable and efficient. Both breakfast and evening meals were good - also fine for vegetarians. It is worth opting for a sea-view room with a balcony on as high a floor as possible. From the small balcony one has a good view of the water traffic and the airport runway (1500m away). Tip: there is a roof terrace with good views that is not much used - take the lift to the restaurant doors then look to your right for the stairs to the terrace.

The whole experience went so well . The airport collection was seem-less and very efficient , The check in was very quick and the room was very clean and comfortable . Nice location close to the airport and cafes . The room was quiet and all the amenities in the room worked , plenty of electrical sockets and USB chargers . There was a good and varied choice of breakfast items , served by two very helpful and happy serving staff.

There was nothing that i didnt like , and if there was , i am sure the staff would have done all they could to rectify any issues.

Great value! All meals included at a perfectly acceptable in-house buffet; free r.t. airport transfer. Most of all, exceptional staff, very cordial and helpful. The ladies at the front desk helped me with contacting and making ongoing arrangements for the next leg of my trip, making several phone calls on my behalf. Very comfortable mattress; particularly comfortable pillows; really nice comfy linens. The lobby is a cozy enclave in the midst of the busy city; near to water/port, some shops, money exchange The restaurant is buffet style with enough selection that there should be something for everyone Room very spacious; (some odd angles, room shape and dead space - like some other retrofitted buildings I've stayed in)

We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly taxi driver and welcomed with fresh clothes at the hotel. Staff were warm, friendly and welcoming to us. They gave us a lovely fresh juice to drink while we were being checked in. Nice waiting area to chill out in.

The aircon was not that effective and I found the room really hot. the fire alarm was triggered in the early hours but there was no staff to direct guests to a safe waiting point.

Our stay was simply amazing. Staying in 100+ hotels in 5 different countries, I rarely give out a rating of 10, but Unima deserves it. There was simply nothing to complain about. The check-in and check-out was as smooth as it can get. The staff was amazing. You make a call for something to reception and you would hear the door knocking in less than a minute. We also ordered food from their restaurant. It was cheaper than the pricing in Male city and the taste was amazing (PS: we didn't really like the taste in Maldives generally). The airport drop-off was swift and comfortable. The room had all necessary amenities. The breakfast lounge had amazing views and the taste was good too. Location was perfect. Just steps from Artificial beach and 5 minute walk from Ferry terminal.

If I try really hard to find? They missed placing the dental kits in our room. Had to call but it was provided in minutes.

We flew to Male for a day before traveling to the island. night conditions for the day are good. Convenient location near the airport, met on time. restaurant at the hotel, good service, reception. The only negative is that I left a contract device for my iPhone in the room. I flew to the island and reported this to the hotel, and they replied that it was not there. don't warn me anything - they won't return it (

The hotel rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The reception staffs are really helpful and they are doing a Awsome job . Thank you for the free upgrade for the suite . Truly appreciated it

Few thins to be added: Restaurant space is very limited . Laundry service to be take some actions , I did the laundry , however the smells bad , doesn’t think if they have use any detergent.

great communication from the hotel. very clean and had ammenities. bed was very comfortable. the staff are all fantastic and so accommodating . my husband left his sunglasses in the room and they returned it straight away 😊 will stay here again

the only negative I have, if being picky is that, it has only one lift. we didn’t have to wait too long so that was good.
