Very warm greeting from Hong when we arrived. We were very early having arrived in KL at 7:00am, but Hong had our two rooms cleaned and ready for us by 11:30. After a long 12.5 hour flight from Paris we were ready for a sleep!! The rooms were really clean, beds and pillows super comfy, fans and AC and had an outside toilet and shower on our verandah (totally private) that we really enjoyed. Great little cafe in the reception area, superb coffee. The motel is a couple of minutes walk to Petaling String clothes and food market, lots of street cooking happening and found some delicious food. It is easy enough to get a beer in KL, but you have to look a bit harder if you want a drink of wine.

Nothing really

The decoration of the room and the outside bathroom and toilet was very special and unique. There was a common room upstairs which I utilized to attend a zoom meeting. It was spacious and nice and quite necessary since there was no table or chair I could sit for my zoom meeting. The hotel is located about 300metres from the LRT station which is a bonus if one wants to use the (underground) train services. Lots of food options in and around the hotel.

That the shower place could not dry in time (as our weather is humid and the day I stayed was a rainy day) for me to walk to the toilet on the side but this is a small issue only as I am used to shower and toilet separately placed.

Worried about it being a busy area, instead we had a wonderfully quiet stay and loved the one-of-a-kind atmosphere thanks to the tasteful renovation and design overall, plus the balcony shower in our premier double balcony room. The Chinese teapot and teabags were a nice touch; so too the complimentary drink in the cafe (only available daytime hours).

The wi-fi stopped working in our room and the only solution offered involved us trying to connect again (with no success however many times). Breakfast is only served from 08:30, which is too late if you want to get out and about. It's also a fixed price and you need a big appetite to warrant the price, which might be OK if you want to start your day slowly with a Malaysian Chinese brunch.

Love the rustic design and uniqueness. Location is second to none. Out of front door is Petaling St, several restaurants, a local KK shop, with Central Market & Pasar Seni literally minutes away by short walk. Very popular daytime cafe downstairs with lots of KL yuppies frequenting and good for people watching from the comfort of the air conditioned interior.

We loved the outdoor bathroom/toilet facilities but this design feature was very polarising. One member of our family was not happy at all! But you get used to it and you need to manage exposure to mozzies but it wasn’t too bad for most of us.

An absolute gem. The location smack in the middle of Chinatown is superb. There is no end of places to eat; restaurants, food markets, road side stalls. It is close to Pasar Seni railway station which is only one stop from KL Sentral and the express train to the airport. If you don’t want public transport, a 20-25 mins walk will get you plenty of things to do, places to visit. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated in a retro fashion with a small cafe doubling as reception. The open air bathroom is brilliant; total privacy combined with the enjoyment of the beautiful weather.

The location is in the heart of Chinatown so central, easily accessible to many restaurants and areas. Even though the location was middle of Chinatown, the glass sliding door and high walls kept the noise to a minimum. I hardly felt like I was in the middle of bustling area. The room (I had a double room with garden), on the main floor, is a decent size and the toilet and shower are outside - initially takes a bit of getting used to but once you do, it's quite free-ing and lots of "bathroom" space. Loved how central was the location and how some eating areas/restaurants were open late. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, retaining the original charm of the building with dark shutters, and some nice rattan chairs in the shared space with some beautiful plants.

Nothing, I thought Tian Jing Hotel was great value for money, room size decent. It would have been great to have the same room type on an upper floor but am not sure if that's possible?

Tian Jing is unusual in Europe we would describe this as a boutique hotel the design is colonial mixed with a modern industrial vibe for a 3 star hotel this place is so cool . A big shout out to Vince Adam and Tezza and their colleague whose name I forget the lads where so polite helpful and informative thank you for a wonderful stay

As I sad this is a 3 star hotel and therefore I can’t complain against anything it surpassed my expectations

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tian Jing Hotel, and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service by Aung and Vince. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my staycation was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern twist of the old school chinese architecture design. I stayed in a single room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well during my 1 night stay. I have to specially mentioned the bathroom which is amazingly spaciously "open" and yet private. The trees planted is definitely a + point for me. Unique experience that you can hardly find it in the midst of bustling place. The hotel's location is also ideal, as it is situated in the heart of the city, close to many amazaing food, attractions and 5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT and LRT. I was able to easily explore the city and visit all the must-see sights without any hassle. Overall, I highly recommend the Tian Jing Hotel to anyone visiting the city. It is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of greenery, comfort, and convenience. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

If you like quirky and unusual, this is the place for you! Yes, the shower and toilet are actually on the balcony, but it's completely private. The location is fabulous, right in the middle of the Chinatown action, but our room was super quiet. There's a wonderful cafe downstairs, and the wonderful manager, Aung, gave us a voucher for two free drinks every day. Bonus! In fact all the staff were wonderful and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I loved everything about it!

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport and a vibrant night market just steps away. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the retro vibe of the rooms is super charming. I loved the unique open-air shower, though be prepared for some noise from the pipes. The cafe attached to the hotel is a great spot to relax with a complimentary drink.

While the single room is on the smaller side and lack a workspace, the overall experience was fantastic.
